It had been a day since I'd updated my appearance. And it has finally gotten to the end of the summer. It's been kinda lonely if I'm perfectly honest. I have been incredibly scared about the others seeing my new look, and what they would say about it. I have been eating, but I've been turning myself invisible to sneak down to the kitchen grab something and bring it back to my room. Patton has been getting pretty worried about me, so naturally, I told him I was just I'll, and that I would be fine in a couple days. I didn't want him to see me, so I had told him through the door that I didn't want him to get sick if he came in, which is why I wouldn't let him in.
He'd been back a few times a day, and each time, I could hear worry creeping into his voice more and more.
This made me feel bad, so when he came back today, I told him he could come in.
'Really!?' He asked, clearly excited, 'I've never been in here before.'
'One second, just let me unlock the door,' I told him, before opening it, cautiously, still overly paranoid about what he would think of my new look.
He gasped when he saw me, 'Did you have a makeover?'
I looked shocked at his somewhat calm response. I simply nodded.
'Why didn't you tell me? I love makeovers!' He exclaimed.
'Shhhhh' I said, 'I don't really want to attract any attention from anybody else,' but before I could finish, the crimson door across the hall opened, and out stepped Princey.
'Did somebody say makeover?' He asked extremely passionately.
His eyes fell on me. We stared at each other rather awkwardly for a while, before Patton spoke up.
'I'm just going to go,' he said, before adding to me in a whisper, 'Have fun.'
In response, I tripped him, without anyone else noticing, as I used my magic to untie his shoelaces. Then, to keep up the appearance that I did nothing, I rushed over to help him. Thank you to the many years of acting, I thought.
I helped him up, Princey watching where I had moved from, as if in a trance.
Patton went downstairs to begin making lunch, leaving me and Princey alone.
'Are you okay?' I asked him.
'Uh, um, uhhhh.......yep I'm fine,' he said, turning the same colour as on his shirt, which matched his door. ( he'd changed into a more casual outfit most of the time, now)
We stood in that same somewhat uncomfortable scenario for w few mor minutes, and I could tell I was blushing just as heavily as Roman, but luckily for me, it was mostly hidden by my make-up.
'So, would you like to go for a walk with me?' Roman asked.
'L-like a d-d-date?' I asked hesitantly.
'If you want,' he replied.
'Uh, um, I - I- I, um, s-sure?' I stuttered
He obviously thought I was funny, or had made a fool of myself, as he began to giggle.
His giggle is so cute, I thought. Wait, what?? Did I really just think that? Atleast he cant read minds, I told myself.
'Let's go then,' he said as we set off.
