Chapter 13- Perfectly Imperfect

"Take my hand!" I cried.

"Fuck you! Fall off already!" Aleks retorted, slight laughter following afterwards.

"BB please!" His character walked over to mine, grabbing the hand that was holding me up. "Aleks no.. no Aleks don- ALEKS!" I yelled as I fell down.

"Winner!" He cheered, the red characters' arms flailing into the air. I threw my controller down and crossed my arms, pursing my lips and facing away from Aleks. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see him with a smirk on his face. He got up and stretched, 'accidently' knocking the face cam over.

"Fuck!" He yelled out. He leaned down to my face and kissed my cheek. "Don't be so butthurt, James." he whispered, fixing the camera. My cheeks flushed and I stood up.

"Hey um.. I'm gonna get a coke. Want anything..?"

"Pepsi, por favor." He chuckled. I nodded and walked out of the stream room to the kitchen. Whilst grabbing the sodas, I heard footsteps entering the kitchen. I turned my head to see Seamus standing in the doorway, hands in his hoodie pockets.

"So James.." he started, rocking slightly back and forth.

"So Seamus.." I mimicked, a small smirk tugging at my face.

"We're still like, you know, friends or whatever, right? You're not mad at me or anything?"

I sighed loudly. Why do you have to start this now. "Yeah of course, why wouldn't I be?" What am I asking? Obviously I know why I wouldn't be, and he knows I know.

"Well, because.. like.. the whole Eddie incident." My faced turned to a scowl quickly just from hearing his name, but my features quickly softened once I remembered what Jordan said.

"Seamus, you're my best friend. If you're interested in people who punch me, be interested in people who punch me." I let out an airy chuckle, pulling him into a hug. "That won't fuck up our friendship. Don't worry." I backed away with a smile, leaving to return back to the stream room.

--Aleks' POV--

I propped my feet onto the desk after I set the stream on break. I slid out my phone to see two text messages. My heart skipped a beat at one of the names. Eddie. I reluctantly unlocked my phone and opened the message, scanning over it.

'Hey Aleks. What's up?'

I furrowed my brows. Why is he acting like nothing happened? I pondered whether or not I should reply, but before I could process it my fingers were already tapping away at the screen.

'Can I help you?'

'Yeah. Have a conversation with me. im bored.'

Before I could respond I heard the door click open and James walked in. I quickly locked my phone, stuffing it into my pocket as I flashed a smile towards him. He returned it as he took his place next to me, handing me my Pepsi. A vibrate from my hoodie caused me to take out my phone again, flicking my eyes at the screen.

'no conversation then?'

'Fuck off I'm streaming. With my BOYFRIEND.'

I smiled once he took his spot next to me. "Hey." I said softly, twisting around the soda can.
