Chapter 11 - Misunderstanding

                 --James's POV--

        I left my room and saw Aleks and Eddie doing the dishes. At least he's doing shit while he's here.

"Hey when are you guys going to the office? I need a ride." I asked walking over to the two. 

"Oh.. uh.. I guess we'll go in like ten minutes." Eddie responded in an awkward tone. I guess he's still embarrassed about earlier or something. I nodded and walked back into my room, sitting down on my bed. I leaned over to my dresser and got a change of clothes, setting them next to me. I lied back in my bed, closing my eyes and never wanting to move. 

        "Shit.." I mumbled under my breath, remembering I have to actually get ready to leave. I sighed and stood up, kicking off my pants and boxers. I grabbed my clean clothes and put them on. I took my shirt off and threw it in a basket in the corner of my room. There was a knock on my door and it slowly opened. I turned my head to face the person entering my room.

"We're going to... go.. in.. a minute..." Aleks spoke slowly, scanning my body with his eyes. I smirked and turned around, puffing my chest out to seem more muscular. I giggled and slid my shirt on, walking over to him. "Alright lets go then." We walked out of the house and Eddie was already in the passenger seat. I wanted to sit there.. I groaned and got into the backseat.

        When we arrived at the office I threw myself on the couch. I didn't get too much sleep and my neck hurts like hell. Seamus walked over from the office hallway and sat down next to me. "Hey James," He scooted closer to me and lowered his voice down to a whisper. "Anything happening with you and Aleks?" I looked over at him and shrugged. "We can't really get anywhere." I whispered back. "He's... er.. well Aleks is dating Eddie.." I scratched the back of my neck, turning my head towards him. Seamus stared at me with a broken look on his face. "Whoa.. whoa hey are you okay?" I asked, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I-... I'll be in my office.." He got up and walked back the same way he came from. "Hey Seamus." I heard Aleks' voice. He walked past Seamus and to the kitchen. Once he heard a door shut he turned to look at me.

        "What's his problem?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders, even though he couldn't see me. I lifted myself of the couch and walked behind him as he was getting something from the fridge. I don't think he found what he wanted because he shut it empty handed. I pressed my body against his back and wrapped my arms around his waist. "W-what are you doing?" He asked as his cheeks tinted red. I smiled and turned him around, my body pushing his back to the fridge. "Shhh" I whispered comfortingly. He obliged and I smashed my lips into his. His eyes opened in shock, but he let them fall. I smirked through the kiss and pressed our bodies closer. I heard footsteps behind me but ignored it, I was too into the moment. Aleks' eyes shot open, and he shoved me away. "What the fuck?!" I yelled. I turned around and saw Eddie and Seamus. Seamus seemed to have a small look of hope, but Eddie had shock, which soon turned to anger. He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white. "Shit.." I squeaked, leaning back as close as I could to the counter. Eddie growled and turned around, storming out of the office doors. 

                --Story's POV--

        Aleks sprinted after Eddie, calling his name. "Eddie! It's not what it looks like I promise!" He called out. "Don't fucking follow me!" he groaned as he ran down the stairs. Aleks stopped at the top of the stairs, looking down over the railing. "Eddie.. please I'm sorry, come back I can explain.." Eddie stopped at the bottom, sighing loudly. He looked up at Aleks, "I don't want to fucking hear it." he growled. Eddie continued and left the office building, getting into his car and driving who knows where. Seamus stared dumbfounded at James, unaware of what to say. James gave an awkward grin and shrugged. "Um.. why were you.. uh.. why here?" Seamus spoke. "I don't know. I get.. urges.. or something.." James replied, sitting up on the counter. Seamus walked over and leaned on the counter next to him.

        "So, why did you seem so.. upset when I told you Eddie and Aleks were dating?" James questioned, changing the subject. "Well.." Seamus started, "you know how you feel about Aleks?" James nodded. "I.. might..-" He began a small mumble, James not being able to understand what he said. "What?? Fucking speak up." Seamus groaned loudly. "I.. might feel.. the same way about Eddie." He mumbled again at the end, but James could hear it this time. Jordan walked around the corner, looking at Seamus and James. "Hey guys, uh, what exactly is happening with Aleks and Eddie?" James looked at Seamus, then back at Jordan. "Umm.. I don't know." James chuckled awkwardly. Jordan glared suspiciously "Hmm okay. Well I'm going home so see you guys later." Jordan left the office and saw Aleks sitting on the floor by the stairs, his shoulders shaking as sobs slipped from his lips one after another. "Aleks whats wrong?" Jordan walked over and crouched down to be face to face with him. Aleks placed his face in his palms, unable to speak. Jordan pulled Aleks in for a hug. "It's okay buddy. I don't know whats wrong, but everything will be okay." Aleks pulled away from the hug and looked up at Jordan. "I'm fine Jordan, thanks." He sniffled. Jordan sighed, walking down the stairs since he was already late. 

        Seamus took out his phone and called Eddie, hoping to get an answer. He heard ringing from down the hallway. Shit did he leave it here? He thought. Well that means he'll be coming back then.. 

                --Eddie's POV--

        I drove down the road, my heart pounding against my chest. My knuckles were still white, gripping against the steering wheel. I wiped the angered tears from my eyes and dug in my pocket. "Where's my fucking phone!" I screamed out to myself. I grunted and slammed on the brakes of my car, pulling into the nearest parking lot. I leaned my head against the steering wheel, not wanting to go back to the office. I tapped my fingers on the wheel, contemplating if I should leave it there for the night or go get it. Do I even need it?  I asked myself. I sighed and turned the car around, driving back to the office.

        Once I arrived I made sure to go in and get out as quickly as possible. My feet moved agilely as I walked to my office. "Where the fuck.." I spoke under my breath. I turned around and saw Aleks, leaning against the door frame waving my phone around with a smile on his face. "Hi Eddie~" He sang. I furrowed my brows and snatched my phone from his filthy, cheating hands. I shoved my way past him and saw James peeking from his corner to see whats going on. "James you mother fucker" I growled, slowly walking towards him. He slammed his office door and I smiled. You think that'll help you? I tossed my phone onto the ground as I approached his office. I heisted my leg upwards, lining it up with his door. "Eddie-" Aleks tried to talk but I lunged my foot forward, a loud crack being heard from the door. James stumbled backwards, falling over his chair onto the ground. He scooted backwards, pressing his back against the wall. I arched my fist backwards and I stepped closer. "EDDIE STOP!" Aleks cried out. I shot him a menacing look and continued with what I was doing. I finally reached him after what felt like hours. "E-Eddie, look, it wasn't what it looked like man, I-" I cut him off by my fist colliding into his cheek. "EDDIE!" Aleks ran forward and gripped my arm in an attempt to pull me back. James lied on the ground with his hands over his right cheek. He grunted as he pushed himself off the ground. "James don't fight back please!" Aleks cried. James took a deep breath and stared at me with cold eyes. "Get. The. Fuck. Out." I smirked and turned around. "With pleasure. I don't want to look at your fucking face anymore." I slammed the door behind me, leaving Aleks and James alone.

                --Story's POV--

        Aleks ran to James, pulling him into an embrace. "Are you okay?" He asked, leaning his head back to examine his face. Aleks ran the back of his hand over James' cheek, where a bruise was forming over the cuts. James scoffed and wrapped his arms around Aleks. "I'm fine." He pulled Aleks closer, "But next time I see that fucker he's going to regret ever coming back here."
