Chapter 6 - Golf

--James's POV--

     It was about 3 AM and I was still in the office. God dammit. I think Jordan was still here too. I don't really know why though. Hell, I don't know why I was still here. I got up and stretched after I rubbed my eyes. I flicked the lightswitch off and closed my door behind me. I usually got a ride home with Aleks. Shit. Wait.. he left not to long before me... I rushed down the stairs and pushed the door open. I looked around the parking lot and saw the puffball of hair on the silhouette.

"Hey Al--" I cut myself off. I looked closer to see there was someone else with him. Wait.. was he.. kissing someone? I stepped back behind the door. So Aleks has a girlfriend. Why didn't he tell me? I shrunk back and waited until the two split paths. I heard Aleks' car start and I nonchalantly walked out of the door.

"Ah! Aleks, you're still here. Mind if I catch a ride back?"

    He nodded and waved me in. I hopped into the passanger seat next to him. He acts like nothing just happened. Why is this such a secret? I mean sure I don't expect him to say 'Oh hey James yeah I have a girlfriend now' but atleast hint at it. Whatever.

"I was waiting a little longer for you, uh, incase you needed a ride."Aleks said with a smile through his facade. Yeah sure. I just smiled back at him and turned to look out the window. Don't worry. I'll find out sooner or later.

     There was a small knock on the door before Kevin and Steven walked in. Sly walked out from his office and waved.

"So, uh, what're we going to do while we're here?"

"Idunno. Probably just record stuff. Go places. Maybe golf?"

     Kevin looked over to Steven for what I'm expecting was an answer. He nodded his head and looked over to Sly. I guess we're going golfing.

--Story's POV--

     Everyone in the creature office, except for Seamus and Dan, started walking to the parking lot. Someone had to take a cab again, since there was only one open spot in the car. So no one would be alone, James offered for himself and Aleks to take a cab. Eddie looked over to Aleks and he just shrugged slightly so only Sly could noticed. Jordan agreed on it and the two left to call a cab.

    It was about seven o'clock and the sun was already setting. They had already been there for about an hour and a half and James was pissed since Aleks was beating him. As Aleks swung to hit the ball, James ran in and kicked the ball away, ruining his par.

"Dammit, James! Whatever. I'm gonna go to the bathroom hold on." Aleks announced as he headed towards the restroom.

"Oh wait, I gotta go too! Don't skip my turn!" Sly yelled as he threw his club down and followed behind Aleks. Once they were out of sight from the guys Eddie swept Aleks off his feet and carried him bridal style. His cheeks flushed as he looked up at Eddie. Eddie looked down with a soft smile and gently placed a kiss on his lips. Aleks leaned up to kiss back but was thrown on the floor. Kevin's voice was heard as he turned the corner.

"I couldn't find the damn ba-" he looked down at Aleks on the ground. "Uh, what happened with him?"

"Eddie fuc-" He was cut off as Sly giggled "Oh, he fell like a dumbass."

     Kevin shrugged and walked into the bathrooms. Eddie held his hand out and helped Aleks up. He kissed his nose as an apology and Aleks punched his arm.

"Don't throw me you asshole."

They walked back together to see everyone putting their clubs away.

"Aww, is it over? Who won?" Sly questioned.

     Jordan had a smug look on his face and pointed a thumb towards himself. James scoffed and threw his ball somewhere in the water.

"James!" Jordan hollered.

"C'mon Aleks were taking a cab again."

     Aleks reluctantly left Sly's side and walked beside James. Once they were away from everyone James called the cab and looked over at Aleks, gaining his attention. He had a devious look to his face.

"So Aleks," James began by clearing his throat. "Seeing anyone special~?"

Okay so I had already written this chapter out once, but then it somehow got erased and I had to write it all over again. That was a pain in the ass... so sorry if something like, doesn't make sense idunno.
