Slowly walking down the navy blue and gold hallway I start thinking about how dull the blue was compared to the blue in his eyes. . . I shake my head. What the hell is wrong with me? I glance at my paper again to make sure that this was the right room. Room 256: Mr. Brown's room.
"Oh, hello there just in time. I'm Mr. Brown and we just got finished with introductions. Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?" Mr. Brown says in a heavy British accent.
The man was in his early fifties and he has such warm eyes I couldn't refuse. After I sigh I did what he asked, "Uh, hi. My name is Geneviève Cross. I moved from Ohio to Sacramento last year and to here, Cydney, this summer. It is nice to meet you all."
After I wrap that up I sit in a open seat near the window at the end of the middle row. I feel eyes burning into my skull as I slide into the open desk. When I turn around to see who it was it is Mr. Seafoam and the same blonde boy who stood next to him outside. The blonde's eyes are a nice green but soon my attention is quickly drawn away. Is he. . . sniffing the air?
Something inside my brain clicks and my world takes a drastic shift. The money, sniffing, groups, and confidence adds up. I swear to God. I'm in damn werewolf territory. I had been here a whole damn summer how did I not notice? I shake my head and then stop in horror. Don't tell me. . . Mr. Seafoam is the Alpha. That's why he sized me up. Oh no. I rub my temples in frustration at myself. You idiot! I shot him a glare. Oh my god I sent him a glare. I shove my sweaty palms onto my lap as my head spins.

Humans only found out about werewolves officially in the 1890's even though people believe they have been around for thousands of years. They have the ability to change into large wolf and talk to each other through mind links. They also are very close to there animal instincts which come from their wolf side. Werewolves have another spiritual half that is their mate, a soul bound bond that they believe their moon goddess, Ataegina, made for them.
Most human communities have a werewolf pack somewhere in their region and wealthy humans such as politicians, and celebrities have been known to ask for protection from rouge werewolves and other people of concern.
Not all humans accept werewolves and every now and then there will be stories about crazy religious humans and criminals fighting with packs in the news. The greatest wronging a human can do is to harm or insult an Alpha or the Luna, his mate.

My heart beats rapidly as I sit painfully for 30 minutes till the class is over. The whole time my brain was exploding awful scenarios about what could become of me. I had done the one thing that might even get me killed. Lord knows if this pack is violent. When the bell rang my shaking legs carried me out of that classroom in a sprint that would put a track star to shame. I didn't care about all the yelling and shouting teachers. All I need to do is get as much distance as I can from those boys. I for sure was not about to stay in the same city with the same disgusting creatures as my parents. It didn't help that after I left the class room I heard desk being thrown out of the way most likely for my pursuit. As soon as that thought came through my head I heard people cheering for people behind me in this chase.
Damn it. I swear I feel them nipping at my heels.
Just as I am about to reach sweet freedom outside I am thrown up against a wall. Suppressing a scream I look up to see the blonde boy who's most likely the second in command. Everyone in the hallway gathers around to see what's happening.
