A/N this is a rewrite! I will be rewriting everything, if not then I'm editing them, but that means I'm back and finally have motivation for writing again!

You were a Spartan-II, along with the famous master chief, but your not quite like him. your whole life has been filled with a certain numb feeling, she took her anger out on everyone but what they didn't know was she was lonely, waiting for company. Walking into the training room, grabbing your pistol and making your way towards a target. Steadying your aim and shooting relentlessly at a target till there was one bullet left.

Going in for another shot, you were cut short by the door swinging open, with 117 standing there in the door frame. "Where were you the whole day? Lasky was requesting you on the bridge."

Slowly you found yourself getting defensive. "I was busy training, now if you'd excuse me I'll be going now" you said sternly, placing your pistol back on your side and trying to leave the training room. Chief grabbed your arm with a firm grip "What's wrong, you've been aggressive, More than usual."

Staring chief down, you found no viable excuse for this situation "Nothing, im fine" you responded dryly as you tried to pull away from Chief. Chief wasn't much for words and he didn't know how he would handle this, so instead, he wrapped his arms around your body.

You felt the Chief's arms wrap around your slender build, keeping quiet before deciding to let your guard down and rest your head against his chest and hugging him back tightly, as tears formed in the corner of her eyes. You quietly wept as he ran a hand down your hair in an attempt to calm you down. Your body felt weak after finally receiving the touch you've been needing, you found yourself wanting to collapse in John's arms. The comfort John brought made you truly feel safe, like time was paused and you didn't have to worry about expectations or your horrid nightmares of the augmentations.

"Can you stay.." you fell silent, you hated asking him for his time. "Just for a little bit. Train with me?" You said, sniffling a little bit as John wiped your tears away. He nodded "Of course, but look, You don't have to tell me what's wrong until you're ready. You don't have to tell me at all if you truly don't want to. I know it seems hard now but eventually it gets better." He released you from his grasp but held onto your hand The way he talked to you...It sounded wrong coming from his mouth, but it brought a sense of warmth to you.
