When they dragged themselves out of the water and opened their eyes, they found themselves nearby the shore of the private beach itself full of zombies that Brett, Eun Tak, Zeon, Liliana and Lizzy encountered.
As they made it to the shore, the steps caught the zombies' attention and started approaching them.
"This is not good", said Zeon as they prepared for battle.
As the zombies kept approaching the UNT, they prepared their weapons and killed them. They were halfway to their victory but...
"Guys! I need help! There's too many of them and they kept on dividing us apart leaving me fighting them off alone!", called out Kira.
This gained Cole's attention and he was determined to rescue her.
"Don't worry, Cheesecake. I'll save you!", he said as he sprang into action to save Kira.
"No, wait! Cole, it's too dangerous if you're fighting alone! We need to stick together!", called out Jay.
"I can't leave her alone! She needs me and I need her!", yelled Cole as he continued to spring into action.
Kira tried to fight off the zombies using the bow and arrow, but they kept dodging that she ran out of arrows. She even tried to fight off zombies using the Blade-Saber she invented when she first started training as a ninja, but one of the zombies tossed it away. Well not exactly, but it actually hit the handle causing her to slip her hand from the weapon and it was tossed to a place far away from her.
As a zombie was about to pounce and bite her, Cole sprang into action and got himself pounced and bitten by zombies.
"COLE!!!!!", Kira yelled from the top of her lungs gaining everyone's attention.
"COLE!!!", they yelled again as the rest of the UNT (including Kira) fought off zombies. Eventually, some unknown person and his family helped fight off zombies making them thrilled to have more survivors.
Cole felt like his stomach was hurt, so Kira ran to hold him in her arms.
"Why did you do that?", asked Kira.
"Because you're the 3rd generation of the Hart family and you're the daughter of the survivalist. And in my heart, I don't want you to become—", he said, then he coughed a bit, then he continued on,"—a zombie. And when you're a zombie, it's gonna be hard for us to kill them because one of them might be you".
Tears started rolling down Kira's cheeks and they fell on Cole's.
"I was afraid of the same thing. I mean, if you're turned into a zombie, it's gonna be hard for me because one of them might be you", said Kira.
Cole wiped her tears saying,"Don't worry about me, Kira. Whether we're apart or not, just remember that deep down in my heart, whether I'm a zombie or not, I love you. Always".
These were his last words before he died. Kira, then bursted into tears mourning for him. The others mourned for him with her for a little while. Then, Eun Tak comforted her saying,"There's not much time. Let's keep moving, but don't worry. Cole loves you and wants to keep you safe. He'll come back after we stop the apocalypse".
Kira settled Cole down gently before pulling Eun Tak into a hug.
"Say he won't let me go. In his heart. Whether we're together or not", she said.
Eun Tak hugged her back saying,"He won't".
Then, she slowly stood up and retrieved the arrows and the Blade-Saber. Then, everyone kept moving.
