I took a long draw of breath, my sister must've felt it, considering she exhaled. My eyes widen, and i bit my lower lip. I bet your all wondering, what the hell are you so surprised at? The fact that Johnny, now goes to our school. My heart did a mental FLIP, my sister looked at me like i was crazy. I took another long hard look into Johnny's eyes, through his nerd-glasses. He waved at me and Suzie, i took in a grin from ear-to-ear, and hurried me and my sister further onto the bus and rushed to sit next to him. Our bus had, unlike other buses, three seated spaces.
"Hey Johnny! I didn't know you went to Queens Elementary!" I said, trying to muster up the most girly voice i could find.
"Suzy, Knock off the girly act! About half the school knows you're a hardcore tomboy." Suzie said, making me sport a annoyed look.
"Hey you guys! You're like twins right? You guys look alike so much!" Johnny said, with a medium high, yet manly voice.
"Yeah, the only thing that can tell us apart is our birthmarks." Suzie blurted, matter-of-factly.
"Yeah, Her's is a star, while mine's is a heart." I said, adding onto Suzie's act of intelligence. She knew i was the smarter sister.
"Cool! So have you guys heard? There's this new jewelry store at the mall, it sells necklaces, Watches, all kind of stuff for tweens, the best part, is that it costs like, a $1.50, each purchase!" My friend Kit cuts in.
"Omg! How cool! Suzy!" Suzie said, making my head snap towards her.
"What? You better force any Lip-gloss on me like last time." I said, ready for the attack this time.
"We HAVE to go to this mall after school!" Suzie said, excited.
"Fine, Why are we going anyway? For that stupid new jewelry store?" I said, bluntly.
"Yeah!" Suzie said, apparently not calming down any second now.
"Okay, won't we need to ask for money?" I said, knowing she gonna give me an answer I'd probably should've expected.
"No, the stuff over there is like, $1.50." Suzie said, she does this everyday, she tries to look, and act smart, and ends up getting put down by REAL intellect, I know some of you think I'm a little too harsh on her, but It's annoying, I'm not gonna sit by, and watch someone become deemed smarter than me, by a external show of "intellect". It's one of my pet peeves, which you'll learn more about along the way.
"Okay, won't we need adult supervision?" I said, check-freakin-mate, again, put down by true intellect.
"Oh, can't you call Kit's mom?" Suzie said, she knew i was going to, I had a feeling she was going to say that.
"No, we're gonna drive there, in a Comet." I said, sarcastically. Most of you just found out now, but I'm pretty sarcastic, I don't take stupidity lightly, and nether do i hyper-sensitive people, it's another pet peeve of mine, i hate when people blow up over something light that i said. I also hate people who act completely retarded.
The bus stopped. And made my ear-buds pop right out. Great. I scrambled for my ear-buds, as Lights by Ellie Goulding, blasted through them. I finally find my ear-buds and plug them back in, and bounce off the bus. I hear whistles as i walk onto the school courtyard, with a tight Camo hoodie, black layered skirt, with Camo leggings underneath, and black sneaks. Yeah remember my overly-large breasts? This is why it embarrasses me. I walked faster, trying to get out of sight before people start staring. I hop inside, staring at the long hallways, and crowds of people. A few people looked at me, most kept their heads turned. I walk up to my sister and my friend Kit.
"Hey guys." I said, with a unbeatable grin, describing my day after talking with Johnny.
"Hey Suzy, You seem to have avoided the courtyard whistles!" Kit jokes, as i give her a friendly punch in the arm.
"Well you did girly!" Kit blurts out, jokingly.
"Whatever, let's get going." I said, as the bell rang, and almost cut off my voice.
School seemed to end quickly. I marched down onto the courtyard with Suzie.
"Alright, keep your shirt on, I'm calling Kit." I said, pulling my Tracfone out of my hoodie's pocket.
"Hey Kit! I was wondering if you could send your mom over to help me and my sister out?" I said, Cheerfully.
"Great! You the best! See ya later." I said, before i hung up.
We waited 10 minutes, until her mom showed up.
"Alright, where do you girls wanna go?" Kit's mom, Cherise said.
"The mall, you know where it is." I said, getting comfortable.
The drive was about 30 minutes. I grabbed onto the handle of the car door, and pushed it open, as my sister got out on the other side.
