We walked into the mall, and i felt... Strange, like something in there was waiting for me. I ignore the feeling, and continue, not long before my sister breaks the silence.

"Look, sis! It's right over here!" Suzie practically screamed, in my ear.

"Okay okay, let's go." I said, calming her down.

We walked to the stand where they sold the jewelry, and there was these two necklaces, one was a star, and one was a heart, the star sat there, in shimmering deep blue, and the heart sat there, ruby red and pale pink, i felt drawn to it, it in a way called out to me. I heard a faint voice in my head, Suzy... It made me... Pick the necklace.

"How much for this?" I said, with deep sense of no regret.

"$1.50." The stand operator said, plainly.

"Ooh! Is that the same price for this one?" Suzie said, holding the star.

"Yep." The stand operator blurted, still no emotion.

"We'll take em." I said, finishing up.

"Okay, That'll be $2.00, Please." The stand operator seem to be kinda boring to me.

We payed him, and walked out of the store. We both put on the necklace, and it sparkles for a second. We walk to the car, and i can hear Suzie's thoughts.. WAIT WHAT?! I CAN HEAR HER THOUGHTS?

"Very strange necklaces, i can hear Suzy's thoughts, WAIT WHOA WHOA WHOA WHAT? I CAN HEAR HER THOUGHTS?" Suzie spoke, in-mind.

"Hey sis." I said, while Kit's mother drives us home.

"Huh?" Suzie said, her voice starting out shaky at first.

"Do you feel... Like.. Your body's changing... In a way?" I said, trying my best to describe the tingling inside my entire body.

"Yeah... Sorta." Suzie said, no false sense of security in her voice.

Don't you just love the way Kit's mom, doesn't pay attention to what we're saying? It's like she's a chauffeur. We finally make it home, the sky looks a light blue, donning a deeper blue as you look further. We march into the door, seeing our mom with a grin from ear-to-ear.

"You girls look snazzy, did you get those necklaces at the mall?" Our mom said, still smiling like a clown.

"Yes." Me and Suzie blurted out, at the same time.

"Well okay, why don't you girls to up to your room, dinner will be finished in a minute." Our mom said, as we marched to our room.

We walked in the room, and i got the strangest feeling, i felt like the room was spinning, and apparently Suzie did too, holding her head and trying to look forward, before stumbling to the bed. I fell on the lower bunk, toppling over Suzie, and passing out. I wake up, still on top of my sister, and she wakes up too. I guess we missed dinner, considering it's day. IT'S DAY? I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!

"Suzie! Suzie, wake up!" I yell, causing my sister to prop up.

"I'm up, I'm up... OMG, SUZY, LOOK AT YOUR HEAD!" She blurts out, scaring me half to death.

I run into the bathroom, following Suzie. We look into the mirror. Oh, i have cat ears, WHAT THE HELL? I HAVE CAT EARS?

"Suzy, we have cat ears!" Suzie yells.

"I KNOW!" I yell, looking at Suzie's, deep blue cat ears, and then back at my, pale pink cat ears.
