Sundays are great, a little less great then Saturday because there closer to Monday but there good still.
This Sunday started off fine enough but didn't get better until I got a text from Charlotte.
Charlotte
Hey, you busy? I thought maybe you could hang with me and Penelope at the mall. That sounded fun time but I didn't have a ride, Hank was at work and Owen definitely wouldn't drive me.
Carrie
Love too but don't have a ride ☹️I turned my phone and waited for a response, she did quickly.
Charlotte
I can get you, I have a car.She didn't have to do that, she already invited me out but I did want to go. So I said.
Carrie
Really? That would be great, your the best, Char. Not the best nickname but I wanted to give her one, she was my best female friend here.
Charlotte
I know I am, I'll be there in 20!Twenty minutes?! It was 1pm and I was just in my PJs. I had to get ready, and get ready fast!
I threw on a spaghetti strap white tank and my red skirt. It was cute, to me at least. I brushed my hair and, just as I finsihed, a car horn blared.
I put my phone and wallet in my little bag and ran downstairs, hoping I don't keep her waiting for long.
"I'm going out." I call out to anyone who's home, I can't just leave without telling anyone.
I grabbed the door knob, satisfied with my exit. "Hey, where are you going?" Liam asked, peering his head into the hallway.
"To the mall, with Charlotte." I said, he smiled. "Have fun and tell her I'm a great choice to be her boyfriend." I rolled my eyes, he should say that to her.
"I'll think about it." I said, leaving the house. "Don't think, do!" He screamed out the living room window.
I shook my head, entering Charlotte's car. "Hey!" I said, she gave me one of her famous Charlotte smiles.
"Hey girl, you look hot. Are you tryna impress me?" I laughed as she started driving. "You got me." I teased.
"Are you excited for girl time?" She asked, I tilted my head. I am a little scared to see what will happen during this girl time.
"Yeah, I think." She turned the radio on, it started playing a pop country song. "Don't look so scared, this aren't no cult, you won't be killing anyone today."
I pouted my lip and pretended to wipe a tear. "Awe, that would've been the best part." She adjusted the volume, giving me a smirk and started belting the lyrics of the song.
I've only seen this done in movies, this actually happens in real life? After I didn't join in, she looked at me. "Why are you so queit? Sing with me!" She continued and I shrugged.
Why the hell not, it's a part of girl time and I'll do it even if I may not end up enjoying it.
I started singing, well not singing, yelling the words. It was cringy and sorta embarrassing when an old lady flipped us off but fun to, it was almost freeing.
We arrived at the Adler Mall a few minutes later, we left the car and got inside.
"Penny should be somewhere around here." Penelope Davis is now my other female friend who is the only person who's more boy crazy than Charlotte.
