Normally Saturdays are the best and, most of all, you can sleep in but not for me. No, no, no, not for me.

"Carrie wake up." Someone said to me, tapping my forehead lightly. "Hm, no." I said flatly, waving my hand so I would hit the person. I knew it wasn't Benji so I could, in good conscious, hit this person.

"It's me, Eric." I shot up and wiped around to look at him. "Eric!" I said happily, pulling him in a hug. "Hey, sis." He whispered. "What are you doing here? Don't you have work and stuff?" He smirked and sat on the edge of my bed.

"I took the day off to spend time with you." Me? I'm glad I get to hang out with him. "You shouldn't have." He waved me off. "Don't worry about it." He reassured me. "And only me? What about the other boys?" He shrugged.

"The boys can wait, I wanted to do something just the two of us." He said in a caring tone. "Okay but this early in the morning?" I said as I looked at my alarm clock. It was 6:30am, my God!

"Yes what we're gonna do is best when it's early." He said, getting up. "Get dressed, I'll make you some breakfast." Don't get me wrong, I love him but I hate mornings. "I don't have a choice?" He laughs. "Nope!"

I get out of bed and looked through my clothes, I didn't know exactly what we were doing so I didn't know how to dress. I decided to put some black leggings and a t-shirt.

I went downstairs to see no one else but Hank with Eric. "Morning sweety." He said, kissing my forehead. "Hey, Hank." I said, sitting on top of the kitchen counter.

"You two going somewhere?" Hank asked as Eric gave me some waffles. Yum waffles! "Ah huh!" I said as I digged into the food. "Oh well you two have fun." He said, exiting the room with a big mug of coffee.

"Thanks for the waffles." I said with my mouth full. "Your welcome." He said, we ate and then left the house. I still didn't know what we were doing today.

"You gonna tell me what we are gonna do?" I asked him when he stopped at a red light, he nudges his head in the back seat direction. I look and see two fishing poles.

Me and Eric are gonna fish?! Not the first thing I thought I would do with Eric but, hey, I never fished before so it might be fun. As long as I don't fall in, I can't really swim.

"You hate it don't you?" He said, looking bummed. "No I'm excited!" I exclaimed genuinely, it did seem like it might be fun. "Good!" He drove for a little bit then finally pulled into a lake parking lot.

We exited the car and grabbed the fishing supplies, getting to the pier and sitting down on it. "Okay, get the bait on the pole." He said, handing me the pole and a worm! Ew, I don't know how to do this!

"Eric?" I said, he glanced at me. "Hm?" I cleared my throat. "I've never fished before." He sighed deeply. "Could've told me that before." He said, not in an annoyed voice but a amused one.

"I'm sorry." I said, looking down at my shoes. "It's fine, I'll help you." He said, helping me with the bait. "Thanks." I said, taking the fishing pole and lowering it in the water.

"It's not hard to catch a fish, when you feel pulling on it, you reel it in." I nod and we were quiet for a minute. "Tell me how your doing? What's going on in your life?" He asked after a while.

"I have a boyfriend, at least I think I do." He snaps his head in my direction and gives me a wary look. "Who? And what do you mean "think I do"?"

"Brent Woods and we went on a date last night, it ended really well but we aren't officially." He smiled. "Brent is quite a charmer and I'm glad your moving on." I tilted my head. "Moving on?" I repeated.

"From Elliott, that asshole." He said, I haven't thought of him in a while. "I am moving on, thanks to my family." He gave me a warm smile. "Come here." He said, hoping his arms out.

I got into his arms and we shared a hug, it was short lived however due to my pole being tugged on. "I think I got something." I said, reeling something in.

Unfortunately the damned fish was strong and I lost my footing, I feel over and into the lake water. "Ah!" I yelled, flailing around. "Carrie need some help?!" Eric yelled back, looking at me. "I can't swim!"

He sprung into action, jumping into the water and pulling me to the shore. "Are you okay? Can you breathe?" He asked, I nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." I said, shaking from the cold water.

"We should go." He said, helping me up. "Yeah, we should." We walked back to the supplies and back to his car.

"Sorry I ruined our quality time." I confessed, he shook his head and took my hand. "You didn't, here put his on." He said, giving me his jacket.

I took it generously, I was freezing after all. "Thanks so much!" I said as I put it on. "I'll give you swimming lessons before we go fishing again." I laugh.

Yeah I probably should learn how to swim soon.

We arrived at the house and walked inside, still soaking wet. It was 9am now so everyone was probably awake expect for Benji, he'd definitely be asleep.

We walked past the living room and a voice stopped us. "What happened to you guys?" Owen asked, he was in his PJ's. "I almost drowned!" I confessed,  touching my wet hair.

"Sounds fun." Xander said suddenly, I roll my eyes and, as I went upstairs I said. "It would've been fun if it was like 1pm, seriously I'm NOT a morning person!" They all laughed as I went upstairs to change.
