"Girl you look hot as shit!" Charlotte said, Penny nodded in agreement and I looked over at my phone. Seeing that Delilah is giving me a thumbs up.
That's right, instead of being with us she's face timing me, I get it though. I mean after what happened between her and Owen, I don't blame her.
They're technically still together but I wouldn't count on it for very much longer.
I don't blame either of them though, it's just the universe being a bitch and trust me, I have lots of experience with pain. "Think that Brent will like it?" They all smile.
"He is going to be speechless when he sees you." I was wearing a tight dark red dress that, Delilah said made my boobs look bigger. Which is important I guess. "I hope so."
"So," Charlotte said, nudging me in my side. A coy smile on her face. "So?" I repeated, raising my eyebrows.
"What are you guys going to do?" She wiggled her eyebrows, implying that we'd be doing something naughty. The exact opposite of that actually, a sweet date. But I blushed anyways, that was enough to get the three girls minds going.
"You're getting it on tonight?" Penny asked, grinding on my bed. I cringed and covered my eyes. "Never!" They all laugh at my reaction.
"We're just kidding, we know how you are with sex." Sex. Something I don't think I'll never want now, after what Elliott did to me, but Brent doesn't seem to mind.
He's too perfect, he's gotta have a flaw somewhere!
"Guys we're just going to see a movie, nothing big." They all give me a smirk and continue working on my hair, after they put it in a neat bun. They all go, wishing me good luck on my date.
A knock sounded at my door, part of me thought it was Brent but that can't be. I would've heard him talk to Hank and the boys. Cautiously I said. "Come in!" The door swings open and in came Owen, a deep frown on his face.
"What's up?" I asked while applying my 100th layer of chapstick. "Delilah didn't come help you? I wanted to talk to her." He sat on my bed across from me and I gave him a sympathetic look.
"She'll talk when she's ready, we know that." I opened my arms, inviting him in for a hug. He smiled and kneeled to me, pulling me onto the ground and into a hug.
"I love you Carrie." I smiled, he's said it as a joke before but this was real. I nearly started crying.
The only people in this house who have said that are: Benji, Hank, and now Owen. I don't blame the others for waiting, it's been four months.
"Say it back." He whispered, sounding a little amused and a little hurt at the same time.
I blinked a couple times then realized that I didn't say it back. I cleared my throat and said, in the sweetest voice I could muster. "I love you too Owen."
"Ah hey." We both looked at my room entrance, only to see Brent leaning at the door frame. A bewildered look on his face.
Oh. My. God.
The sence he's looking at is horrifying to say the least.
His girlfriend and bestfriend aka my almost brother, embracing the other on their knees. Oh and me saying that I loved him too.
I quickly stood up, adjusting my dress and my hair. "Hey babe!" I ran over to him, giving him a big kiss on the lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"You look so gorgeous, babygirl." My cheeks reddened as I took a glance at Owen, he was standing now and I saw the awkwardness on his face.
"I'm going back to my room, you two have fun. Not too much." Owen gave us a wave as he ran back to his room.
