The first year at Hogwarts passed by quicker than you could say "snow in December".

Rosalie quickly realized that the animosity towards Slytherins was very real. And extremely harsh. She was surprised when she saw some of the seventh years would hiss at the new Slytherins. Or when some Gryffindors would go out of their way to verbally attack the green and silver house.

The amount of times that she's fallen while walking down the hall have begun to become suspicious to Damon. And although Rosalie wouldn't act out right then and there she did keep a list.

She kept a list of names of the people who would trip her down the hall. Or called her a name. The only time she ever did something was when a fifth year Gryffindor lit a piece of her hair on fire. Pansy was able to put it out pretty quickly and only a small amount of hair was burned.

Rosalie quickly went to her Slytherin prefect, Sabrina Cunningham, who said she would take care of it. It wasn't even an hour later when the perpetrator had fallen down a trick step on the stairs and broke his arm. Of course there was never supposed to be a trick step where he was walking.

Rosalie learned pretty quickly that Slytherins must stick together if they wanted to make their Hogwarts experience a bit more bearable. Of course not everyone was like this.

The Weasleys were nice to her due to familial ties. And Hermione always went out of her way to talk to her or ask her a question. Delilah would often bring along her new, Luna along most of the time. And the group found Luna to be a great addition to the group even through all of her ramblings which they quickly got the hang of. And of course Damon would often leave his friends at breakfast to eat with Rosalie.

And throughout the school year she would often find herself in the common room with the only other silver haired member of her house. And she would sit through his long speeches of how much he hates Potter.

"He wouldn't be on the Gryffindor quidditch team if you wouldn't have thrown that damn remberaball." She told Draco the evening after the school had found out that Potter was the new seeker for his house's quidditch team.

Draco only waved her comment away before continuing his homework.

Potter was the person most often mentioned by her cousins and her friends. And her brother. And her professors. And in the letters that she received every so often from her father that cared more for Potters well-being than hers.

She couldn't go very far without hearing of some sort of gossip of the lighting scared boy. And she couldn't go very far without bumping into the black haired boy. Wether it was in one of their classes or eating times or him simply tripping her on accident. Or him accidentally pouring his ink well on her cloak. Or him literally bumping into her causing her to drop all of her papers. And the fact that he calls her "A.Z" or "Trip" or "Daisy" anything but her actual name.
