Chapter 9

Nolan POV

I was absolutely ecstatic! Axel said I was gonna have a birthday this year! Oh I can't wait! But right now I just wanna try this cake! I giggled happily thinking about actually having a birthday and Axel just looks over and smiles.

I give him a very happy grin and kissed him on the cheek without thinking. When we both realized what just happened, our cheeks was tinted with a blush. "Er....sorry..." I gave a nervous chuckle and looked away. He chuckle and replied "its fine ya know...? I...liked it..."

My eyes were wide at that and I feel my cheeks getting even more heated. Before I could reply, we arrived back at the mansion. Axel got out and went to my side and opened the door for me. He then offered me his hand to take. I blushed at the action and took the offered hand while mumbling a thanks.

Before we could even reach the door steps, we were ambushed........by a giant bear hug from Jayden.

I hugged him back quickly and wrapped my legs around his waist. He held me up by my butt and I could feel Axel crushing me. Both of them were crushing me. I squealed when Jayden started kissing me on every exposed skin he could reach. Axel chuckled and kissed my neck from behind.

"Boys, boys, I know I'm very kissable but please stop before I get turned on and want it in the ass!" Axel chuckled and just continued with Jayden going much faster. I blushed when I realized what they were doing and pouted. "Stop! I want my cake first! Plus, your packages are huge and I do not need my ass to start hurting yet thanks" I broke free and went to the car to get my cake that I thankfully forgotten earlier or else it would have been squashed in that bear hug.

I got our cakes and held the delicious smelling treats that was in a bag on one arm and blew a kiss with my free hand to the boys. I was feeling playful so I smacked my bubbly ass in their face and heard them growl. But before they could grabbed me, I was running into the house, cackling like a maniac.

The boys chased after me and I placed the bag down and continued running. We were laughing and running all over the house before Axel scooped me up in his arms and smothered me with kisses. Jayden caught up and partook in the action as well. I pouted and squealed, trying to get away from the brutes.

After some time, the giants finally let me go and I took in that sweet, sweet, oxygen. 'Oh oxygen! I shall never curse you again! You are my god! My saviour! My life!' I continue taking in breaths from being squashed between the idiots.

I then swoop out my phone and turned to them. "You two gonna teach me how to use my phone?" I asked with a grin and was returned with two more grins similar to mine. "Okay we can do that later, cake first? Please please please?" I asked while dragging out the last "please" and gave them my best puppy eyes and pouty lips.

They hum in thought and agreed, I jumped up in the air in excitement. "Cake, cake, cake!" I chanted while running towards where I placed the lovely desert. "Baby boy you go first! Me and Jayden will be there in a short while! I have to talk with Jayden first!" I nodded not really giving a single fuck for what Axel said. All I wanted was to try that strawberry shortcake!

And with that in mind, I sped up my pacing towards the destination of my love, my life, my WIFE, MY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!

Axel POV

"Jayden..." I said seriously but with a sad tone behind it all. Jayden heard the tone of my voice and immediately gave me his full attention. "J-Jay...at the mall he...he never tried them..." I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. Jayden wrapped himself around me and drew circles in my back while whispering sweet nothings in my ear. "Shhh its okay Axel...now take a few deep breaths and whenever you're ready, tell me what's wrong..."

I did as suggested and began telling him the sad news I received of our precious kitten at the mall or er well...car? I don't know, you readers decide. The Author is tired af and needs sleep so she can't decide.

"So...kitty has never had cake or a birthday before. Jayden....a birthday! Every child should at least have had one!" An upset me told my dearest husband. "We...we have to throw him one Jay....show him what people does in one....even if its only us there...I doubt he has ever had a present before Jay!" Jayden's serious face morphed into a sad one when I told him the news. He then nodded in agreement quietly. But I knew he meant that he agreed throwing Nolan a little party, even if its just us three.

"We will show him what one does on a birthday. I wonder if he knows his own birthday..." Jayden asked in a sad wonder. I frowned at the thought that maybe Nolan doesn't know his own birthday, like, his own birthday! I hope he knows....I can't bear the heart ache if he doesn't......

I sighed and smiled softly at Jayden, "let's go eat cakes first and teach Nolan how to use his phone first....we will ask him about those questions later yeah?" I asked while stroking Jayden's arm, comforting him from any sad thoughts he had for Nolan.

Jayden nodded with a soft smile and gave me a peck on the lips. Nice and soft. It was a great little peck. But then I thought about how the small pecks were with Nolan. All of them filled with innocence and satisfaction, like heaven.

With the thought of Nolan, Jayden and I were off to find our little kitten.
