The loud sound of the bells ringing could be heard by a distance as the girl remained seated on the floor in the middle of a blank void, the sound of her breathing echoing and bouncing against the walls.

".. What is your name...??" Areum asked as she eyed her spirit animal, "I go by the name of Inara, meaning shining light. I am one of your long lost ancestors from the year 136,"

"Inara...?? But that's not a Korean name...?"

"I am fully aware of that. Your family isn't of full Korean origin. I was the blacksmith of my soulmate,"

".. That's... Interesting... Could you tell me more about yourself?? And why did you choose me as your disciple??" The female asked as she looked up at the dragon, "I have chosen you because I've been watching over you for a while now. You reminded me very much of my younger sister. She was very passionate about gaining freedom. As far as I can see, your fate seems similar to hers,"

".. What do you mean??"

"That I cannot say. I am not the one to unveil your destiny. The sacred gates of the heavens forbids it. However, your fate will be unfolded by the one dearest to you,"

"The one dearest...? My birth father?"

The dragon shook her head and chuckled. "My dear, your destiny has far greater complications than that. Far more from what you could ever expect," her voice began to echo, her figure distorting.

"However, I sense a far greater entity is near to drive you away from your destiny. Areum, you must follow your destiny,"

"Wait! Don't go yet!!"

"I must. The spiritual world does not permit me to stay any longer. If I oppose then..." She trailed off,"

".. Then what...??!"

The girl was awoken with the blink of her eye, her vision back to black as the blindfold wrapped around her wounded eyes securely. The sound of the morning birds chirping made her figure out that the sun had already risen.

There was a knock on her door, and she immediately sensed the presence of her roommate, Park Ryuhee. "Come in," she said, sitting up.

"Good morning!!~"

"Good morning, Ryuhee. You seem oddly happy today," the girl chuckled.

"I am feeling elastic!!"

".. I think what you meant to say was ecstatic,"

"Oh tomato tomatoe. Anyway! I am very happy to have my roomie back!!"

"I truly am grateful, Ryu. Did anyone ask for me this morning..?"

"Ah, no. Yeonjun just came in to check on you and then Taehyun came and dropped off a note," the girl informed, taking out that same note. ".. A note...?"

"Yeah, he said that you should give it to the canteen area so that they could create a specific meal plan for you. He said that since you hadn't had any proper meals for a while then we should focus on lighter foods with lots of protein and vitamins. He also said you're at risk of iron deficiency. You know how powerful healing spells are, the poor boy is exhausted,"

Areum frowned, feeling somewhat guilty. "I'm... Terribly sorry... I didn't mean to cause such a huge burden for you, I-"

"No! I didn't say this for you to feel bad! Besides, Taehyun felt guilty too and wanted to make up for it. I don't know if you remember but he was possessed and attacked you,"
