together - scrubb

the person who can make me smile, no matter how sad i am. you have changed my love, i don't know, i don't understand, maybe because we belong together.

the hybrids were nervous as they were in the train heading to seonghwa and san's hometown, they tried to distract themselves by playing games on their phones but there was no doubt that they were showing signs of nervousness.

"can't we just be in our animal forms?" wooyoung speaks up for what seemed like the first time ever since they board the train, they've both put their phones down but yeosang was listening to music, head leaning on the icy window as he watches the snowflakes fall as the train moved

"no, no shifting, just for tonight, promise us." seonghwa says, wooyoung taps on yeosang's hand to capture his attention and the kitten removes one of the buds

"no shifting for tonight, just tonight, okay?" he repeats and yeosang nods, locking his and wooyoung's hands together as if to calm him down.

as promised after christmas eve, they were on their way to see the park brother's mother before they head to jeju

hence why they were on a train seeing as seonghwa was opposed to driving such a distance especially in the snow as the roads were more likely dangerous and he couldn't risk it, even if he does drive safe and slow, it's much better to take the train at times like this.

"we've already told her about you and she'd want to meet you two, there's no need to worry." san assures, smiling at wooyoung after looking up from the book he was reading

"we're just worried she might not like us and you two are her only sons so she might want someone better than us." yeosang spoke, he's been quiet for the whole trip, much like wooyoung but what he said worried seonghwa as what might have gone through his head to say that

"princess, come with me for a bit." he offers his hand so they can get out of their private cabin to talk.

seonghwa watches as yeosang leans on the window just outside the room, one foot rubbing the other as he fiddled with his gloves

"what's wrong?" he puts his finger on the kitten's chin to lift his face up "nothing," it was a mere mumble but enough to be heard

"princess, i know something's wrong, come on, you can always tell me." seonghwa assures, yeosang has been down since morning when he wasn't like this at all.

"i said what i said, seonghwa, what if your mom asks what kind of person am i?" seonghwa chuckles, pulling him close, putting a hand on his cheek

"then i'll step in and tell her you're the most patient, most sweetest, the most beautiful person ever." yeosang grumbles trying not to blush at the compliments

"what i mean was, what if she asks what education wooyoung and i have? we can't really tell her that we have knowledge about witchcraft as we were a warlock's familiar." he stresses and seonghwa hushes him, now cupping both his cheeks

"she won't ask that sangie, if she knows that you're a good person who has good intentions, she'll like you and wooyoung too." they move farther to the wall upon seeing people pass by and they began to talk in a hushed tone.

yeosang's eyes quickly glanced inside the cabin's door and he sees san's silhouette with wooyoung, probably also assuring him that everything will be okay.
