Alex' POV
"You excited to see daddy again?" I asked as I helped her put on her shoes.
"Yes!" She smiled brightly and I couldn't help but smile with her. Time passes by so quickly. It's been 9 years since I met Joshua, yet it feels like yesterday. He's been gone for a few days for a business trip and me and Sean are getting ready to pick him up at the airport. I tied her shoes and helped her put on her jacket.
"Do you have everything?" I asked her before we left.
"Bunny!" She got up and ran to the living room. I chuckled as I saw her running with her tiny legs. She ran back with Bunny in her hands, her favorite plushie that she got from Joshua. "Bunny missed daddy too!" She said in a sweet tone. I put on my jacket and grabbed her from off the ground.
"Let's go sweety." I kissed her head and carried her outside. Nathan was standing outside with the SUV. He opened the door and I put Sean in her seat. I climbed in next to her.
"Look daddy! Stars!" She said as we started driving. I looked at her face as she pushed her face onto the window being amazed at the stars.
"They're pretty aren't they?" I smiled at her. She nodded and yawned.
"Does daddy see them too?" She hugged bunny.
"I think he sees lots of stars up there." I kiss her head. She smiled brightly as she looked out the window again.
** Some time later at the airport I don't wanna write the whole ride :< **
"When is daddy coming?" Sean asked for the third time as we waited on a bench inside the airport.
"He'll be here soon sweety." I said while watching her run around with bunny. It was quite late for her but I wanted her to come with me to pick him up.
"Daddy look! Bunny can fly!" She shouted from a distance as she held bunny in the air and ran around. I smiled at her.
** After a while :'c **
"Is that my little princess?" Joshua said enthusiastically looking at Sean.
"Daddy!!" Sean said as she saw Joshua coming through the gates and ran up to him. He kneeled and opened his arms while smiling giving Sean a big hug. Joshua looked at me and I smiled. I walked up to him as he lift Sean up and held her in his arms.
"Hey honey." He said with a big smile and gave me a kiss.
"Ew! No kissing!" Sean said dramatically while laying her head on his shoulder and me and Joshua both started laughing a bit. I hugged him tightly.
