Waiting in a blacked-out SUV two hours from the complex in the middle of nowhere was really how I saw my day going, as soon as Emerson had told me Alexi had called well I was resting two nights ago. The only thing he told me was that Alexi had told him Creed was coming. The complex was no doubt going to get tense now that Creed was coming back.

Creed was a very large soldier turned mafia man. After the cops had killed his family in a freak accident he turned against those he once helped and became friends with the Mafia and everyone loved his help. Creed had met me by chance through a bar fight, with Alexi. He threatened Alexi to have him erased by the Mafia and Alexi told him to try. Which had resulted in a very large bar fight? Alexi couldn't stand him so that's where the tension would come in, more so over the fact, Creed would go out of his way to get Alexi's attention, no matter what kind of attention it was.

Creed had been working overseas with another family on my family's behalf. He had heard about the attack and figured it was time he comes back home and assist with the current problems. To keep everyone safe, more so now this was the best way to meet.

Getting out of the vehicle first Cade looked around all the vantage points and deemed it safe before letting me out of the vehicle. Creed didn't bother checking his surroundings when he got out, duffle bag on shouldered he smiled at Cade and then me.

"I missed you fuckers."
"Likewise," Cade said
"How is the Spitfire."
"You haven't been here but ten seconds and you are already starting your shit with Alexi," I said sharply.
"You know it. What else is there to do Maddox?"
"Hmm, Maybe your job?"
"You surely didn't get any nicer. Does he not put out?"

I felt my jaw twitch.

"Who told you?"
"Spitfire."

The whole ride back, Creed casually tried to bring up Emerson. He asked Cade what he thought about it, to which Cade said it was his son's choice to love who he wanted. But when I got my hands on Alexi I was going to snap him in two. Alexi wasn't normally loose with his words, so I was mildly surprised to hear he had said something about Emerson.

"Maddox, Spitfire had mentioned you had a lover, so I had to be respectful in your space and surroundings since they were not just yours anymore, He didn't say anything otherwise."
"Then how did you know he was Cade's son?"
"Took a shot in the dark when he said his name, Bennett gave it away."
"I see."
"I would like to meet him of course, when im not bothering Alexi for attention."
"Do you have no shame?" Cade said from the driver's seat.
"Nope."

When we arrived back at the Complex. Alexi was waving papers around in Jackson's face, you could hear the anger in his voice as he yelled about things being over budget. Jackson didn't look fazed, he was always over budget. The truth was I had the paper on my desk signed to approve a budget increase for him, I just hadn't gotten it back to Alexi.

"Spitfire's pretty angry today."
"I wonder why maybe because you're here?" Cade said laughing.

I watched this go on for a few more moments before Cade parked the car and Jackson and Alexi looked in our direction. I watched him sigh and start walking over. Stepping out of the car I waited for Alexi to make his way over. He stopped when Creed rounded the car.

"I'll show you the budget later."
"Alexi, I would----"
"Im too fucking busy right now Maddox!"

I raised my eyebrow as Alexi stomped off angrily. The attitude on that man was something else. It wasn't like he was five feet tall and his attitude was all he had. Alexi was nearly six feet tall and had muscles, like Cade's or Jackson, but he still had muscles. We trained together when we had the time. I knew he could lift. Alexi didn't resort to violence when something didn't go he was unless he had too. He was a really good shot too.

"Excuse me well I go bother Spitfire."
"Your death man."
"He won't kill me. he likes me, he just doesn't know it."

I shook my head as I headed inside and to my private section. I needed to warn Emerson about Creed. Since he didn't have boundaries, not even for me, and I was his fucking boss. Emerson and Zev were are the table like normal only they were colouring.

"Please be quiet, Rosie is sleeping on the couch."
"Got it."
"Thanks."
"So, I need to warn you about one of the guys that work with me. He had returned home and he has no boundaries, he will probably ask the way too many questions and get on your nerves, but that's just who he is. If he says anything you don't like to call him out on it, he won't say it again."
"Got it, must be that Creed guy Alexi mentioned right?"
"Yeah, I figure you won't be bothered by him for a few days, he had two years of not bugging Alexi to get in, before he comes to meet you."
"I still have yet to meet Alexi."
"He's pretty nice," Zev said colouring his mushroom colouring page.

My phone rang, so I left my private section to go and answer the phone. I pushed the answering button and held the phone away from my ear. It was a good thing too, Alexi was screaming through the phone, He was switching between English and Italian so quickly and angrily I could make out anything he was saying other then, he was going to kill Creed roughly.

"Please wait to kill him. He is very useful for us."

He went off about his budget and the papers he left on my desk and Creed and his budget and so many other budgets. After he was done screaming, I told him I would get to his papers when I felt like it. Alexi didn't say please or ask me to be faster, he just hung up on me. I would look over his papers and bring them to him the moment I had them done. He knew it too. I honestly felt bad for Alexi, Creed had a hard-on for bothering him.
