Just a little more than friends

congratulations!

"congratulations mom and Ben!!" Lally said as she walked closer to Ben and Kay. Ben told her he was going to propose Kay so Lally came to the beach because she wanted to see the proposal. "Oh thank you sweetheart." Kay said and smiled with tears on her cheeks.
"It's late so I have to go put my kids to sleep, but we should celebrate you guys on friday!" Lally said. "Sounds great, good night." Kay said to Lally and she left the beach. "Kay I love you so much." Ben said after couple quiet minutes. "Ben, I love you too. You're my favorite person on this earth and you make me the happiest." Kay replied and kissed Ben. They sat on the beach until it was dark. "We should take day off tommorow." Kay said. "Let's do it, I have nothing important to do." Ben replied.
10.15pm
"I'm so happy, today was one of the happiest days ever. Thank you Ben for making my life so much brighter." Kay said and put her hand on Ben's chest. "Thank you for being my sunshine. I love you the most." Ben said and started stroking Kay's hair until she fell asleep. Ben kissed her forehead and fell asleep too.
the next morning
"good morning my fiancé, did you sleep well?" Ben said to Kay as he came from downstairs. Kay smelt coffee. "Yes I did, did you make breakfast?" Kay asked and smiled. "I did, everything's ready. Let's go eat." Ben said and took Kay inside his arm and they walked to downstairs together.
It was such a beautiful morning, the sun was shining and you could see some birds in the garden. "Should we go eat in the garden? There's a table and chairs." Kay asked. "Sure. I'll pour us some coffee and take our croissants." Ben answered.
Ben and Kay went to the garden and ate their breakfast.
"Have you thought about our wedding?" Ben asked. "A little yes. I'd like to have only close friends and family there, nothing big." Kay said. "Yeah that sounds good. I think it should be in August maybe, now it's June so we have time." Ben answered. "August is okay. I'm so excited!!" Kay said and giggled.
Kay and Ben went to get ready because they planned to go eat lunch to a restaurant.
"Should we go stop by at the office? Go tell everyone what happened yesterday." Ben asked. "Are you sure? I mean they'll probably think this happened too fast or something." Kay said. "No they won't, I just want to tell everyone that you'll be my wife soon." Ben replied and looked into Kay's beautiful eyes. "Okay then. What time is it?" Kay asked. "It is 9.20am. We probably should leave at 11." Ben said.
11.10pm
Ben and Kay arrived the office.
"Good morning everyone. Kay and I would like to tell you something." Ben shouted, everyone turned their heads to listen what Kay and Ben are going to say. "We got engaged yesterday." Kay said and showed her gorgeous ring that has a diamond on it. "What, Really? Congratulations!!" Someone said. Everyone started clapping and smiling, they were happy for Kay and Ben.
