he wasn't daydreaming

changbin was there. on one knee. holding a small black box. with the group gathered around them. smiling at felix.

"d-dada?"

"lix, from when i first met you, i thought you were the most beautiful person to ever exist, the way you smiled even through the hard time you were going through, the way you were just so happy, the way you gave yourself to me so easily, you just intrigued me, and to this day, you never fail to make me laugh, and smile, and just fall deeper and deeper in love with you, everything about you has me captivated, everything you do has me hooked, i can promise you, now and forever, you have my whole heart, im never going to be without you, anything we face, we can go through with your hand in mine, i feel so honoured to be your boyfriend, and caregiver, you mean the world to me baby, my whole universe revolves around you, i can't imagine my life without you in it lixie, every second i spend with you, every smile you give me, every time i hear your voice, or kiss you, or hug you, i fall utterly in love, i fall so in love it hurts to think about my life without you, you give me butterflies every time you look at me, every time i kiss you, my heart explodes, i love you felix, nothing and no-one will ever change that, you're the source of my happiness, you're the basis of every thoguht that comes to my mind, my happiness is knowing that you're okay, my worry is not having you in my arms, and my sadnesss is knowing what horrible things you've been through, but those things have pushed me into a never ending loop of admiration felix, i look up to you, you're the bravest, most determined spirit i've ever met, and i don't know how i got lucky enough to call you mine, so, will you make me the most honoured and happiest man in the entire universe and marry me?"

"changbin..."

"felix?!"

felix nodded, looking shocked as he stood there, his eyes going wide.

"felix?! not little felix?!"

felix pulled changbin up and hugged him as hard as he could, every emotion and memory he had ever felt coursing through his mind and body, shock and so many other emotions filling his head.

"i-i think... i think i'm o-out of it.."

"y-you're back? really back?!" changbin started to sob, unable to believe it and still shocked.

"i-i think i'm back!"

felix's voice sounded hoarse and strained, as it had been so long since he used it, but it was felix, out of littlespace, with a voice, clinging to changbin.

"i love you so much, i missed you out of littlespace, i missed it so much."

felix moved to changbin's ear, tears pouring down his face as he whispered to the love of his life for the first time in months.

"i love you changbin."

changbin hugged felix tighter, sobbing into his shirt, the words made his heart pound out of his chest, every other member of the friend group was crying, seeing felix out of the headspace he had been trapped in, and able to speak, felix felt his head spinning, all of the sense and mindfulness coming back to him.

"i missed you, i know i had little you, but god i missed hearing those words."

"i love you, i love you, i love you! and yes! i will marry you!"

changbin smiled uncontrollably, pulling back from the hug to kiss felix, deeply and passionately, like it was their last kiss.

felix kissed back, full of love and pure admiration.

changbin pulled away and kissed all over his face, holding him as close as possible.

"you mean everything to me binnie, i can never thank you enough for all you've done, you're my hero, my everything, i love you so so so much, you're my dream come true."

"you never need to thank me felix, i love every second with you."

felix hugged him again, kissing his cheek, he was shocked himself, everything changbin had said had jarred him out of the headspace and his voice and normal persona had become clear to him again, he kissed changbin's face all over before pulling away and looked at his friends.

"are you really out of littlespace?" jeongin asked, still trying to comprehend it.

felix nodded, smiling brightly.

his friends attacked him in a hug, felix closed his eyes and hugged them all, smiling so much.

"we loved having little lix, but i missed my best friend."

felix smiled widely at jisung before pulling away, going over and hugging woojin.

"thank you hyung."

"nothing to thank me for lixie, how does it feel to be changbin's fiance?"

felix squealed and giggled, getting red and shy.

"amazing, it was so frustrating, not being able to find the words to express myself."

"i bet, but it doesn't matter anymore, changbin got his felix back."

felix went back to changbin, watching his fiance take a ring out of the box, slipping it onto his ring finger, trying to see through tears.

changbin looked up at felix, smiling warmly, felix cupped his cheeks and kissed his lips a few times.

"i love you changbin."

"i love you too felix."
