• The Interview •

 Adora's POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I sluggishly roll over and tap the screen of my iphone. "ADORA!" Immediately shoots out from the speakers. "glimmer?" i say ending with a yawn as i sit up. I take glance over to my alarm clock. "10:37?!" I shout. "You were supposed to pick us up a hour ago! Where are you?!" Glimmer states as i sprint over to my closet changing out of my pajamas and into a white shirt,jeans and my favorite red jacket. "Im SO sorry guys im on my way!" I say quickly hanging up the phone and sprinting down the stairs to get out the doors. I sneak a quick croissant before waving goodbye to Madame Razz and hoping in my car. A couple years back my parents passed away in a car crash. They were good friends with madame Razz, So when Madame Razz found out i was gonna be sent to a orphanage, she took me in and let me stay in the attic of the cafe. I love it here and wouldn't trade it for the world. I finally arrive to Bow and Glimmer sitting on the steps of Glimmers house. "Hey Adora!" Bow said as he jumped up from the steps running over to my car,Glimmer following close behind. "We were waiting for a full HOUR! Where were you?!" Bow said as the two of them hopped into my car. "Sorry, i over slept!" Glimmer chuckled. "Since when do you oversleep?!" We all laughed only me knowing why i was up last night. "I bet you were thinking about that girl you like~" Glimmer states making Bow let out a "oooooo". "W-WHAT?! N-NO I!" i was cut off by Glimmer. "Adora, its okay, we see the way you look at her.We except you no matter what!" Glimmer said with a warm smile. I chuckle starting to tear up a bit. I park the car on the side of the rode then immediately hugging Glimmer and Bow. As soon as we break the hug and hop out of the car as if pre planned they started asking me questions. "So whats her name?" Bow asks "Well her names Catra" I say walking into the shop with the 2 of them "Whats she like?" Glimmer asks. "she sure isnt your typical girly girl, shes really fierce but has this sweetness to her." As i finished my sentence we entered the shop putting on our aprons. The day went on as normal, customers new and old. What i forgot was that today was interview day since our last employee, Sea hawk started a fire in the kitchen.

It was 2:49 and i just finished cleaning the counters.I walked over to the corner of the shop setting up for the interviews. I was hoping we could find someone decent since me,glimmer and bow have had double the work since sea hawk was fired. Those 11 minutes sped by till it finally was 3:00. The clock in town square rung making everyone go quiet. But among the quiet the bell hung off the door chimed. I looked over in utter shock at who was here. Catra. The reason i couldnt get any sleep, The girl i liked was here. "U-Um hi, im here for the interview?" She said,you could tell she was nervous. "Your in the right place" i said with a soft smile patting the other chair at my table. As she was sitting down at the table i could see Glimmer and Bow quietly giggling and smiling at me. "What are they doing?" Catra asked. "O-Oh dont mind them, lets get started." I said setting getting my clipboard ready. We quickly exchange small smiles and get to work.
