Spring

Flowers poke up from the ground,

Changing buds to a colorful burst.

The birds and bugs begin to sound,

And animals at lakes quench their thirst.

Sweaters are exchanged for short sleeved shirts,

Shorts and sandals begin to appear,

And all the women wear their skirts.

Everyone enjoys being here.

Spring shows hope for warmer weather.

Finally we can go outdoors.

Birds fly around and drop their feathers,

And children think of campfires and s’mores.

Warmer days and longer nights,

All the flowers create joyful sights!
