Betty Cooper is an exchange student from Germany who has been assigned with another student from LA. She is staying there for a year to learn about her partner,what will happen?

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring and looking over to see the clock read "8:23" . I quickly got out of bed guessing I must have half-asleep hit the snooze button about 3 times,I got my clothes I had picked out the night before from the desk and made my way to the bathroom for a quick shower.
I got out, got my clothes on, brushed my hair and teeth,and made my way downstairs. I wasn't really hungry so I went over to the island and picked up an apple, I turned around to see my mom walking Into the living room with her purse and paper. (LM=lilis mom, LD=lilis dad)
LM: " morning sweetie how did you sleep? "
L: "good other than I woke up a little later because I hit my snooze button more than once"
LM: "yeah I heard, did you get everything packed?"
L: "yep I double checked last night, clothes, pjs, tooth brush, hair brush, shoes, and anything else I needed. I made a list and checked everything off as I packed it."
LM: " good job have you gotten it in the car yet? "
L: "not yet I'll go do it before I forget, thanks for the reminder!"
And as I ran upstairs I heard a faint "you're welcome". I walked into my room and grabbed my luggage and headed back downstairs and to the car. Once I had gotten it into the trunk I made my way back inside to see my mom and dad talking. I shut the door and my dad's head swung over to the side to see me walking up to him.
LD: "morning honey" he said as he made the finishing steps over to give me a hug.
L: "morning dad, sleep well?"
LD: " like a battery running out of life, on and off, on and off, on and of-"
L: "ok,ok so restless night huh?" I said giggling
LD: " yeah just gonna miss you a lot that's all"
LM: " WE, both of us are gonna miss you so very much"
L: "I'm gonna miss you guys a lot to but I assure you I'll have an amazing time and everything will be great!"
LD/LM: " we know"
L: " I love you guys, alright let's go. "
LD/LM: "I love you to"
We got in the car and made our way to the airport. We arrived and made our way over to the sitting area and waited for our plane to be called, 15 minutes later we got called over to the gate and we said our goodbyes.
LM: " now I want you to know we'll be thinking of you and that we love you and will miss you so so much! "
L: "I will miss you guys to,I love to so much"
LD: " alright peanut you don't wanna miss your flight, I love you. "
L: "love you dad" I said with tears in the brim of my eyes
LD/LM: "BYE!"
L: "BYE!: I shouted
I boarded the plane and looked down at the piece of paper in my hand and got to finding my seat, I sat down next to the window and my journey begins...
Alright guys I hope you enjoyed this new part! And by the way they were speaking in German the whole time they were talking, just to sum it up.
