Today betty was gonna be meeting my friends. I'm kinda nervous because the boys can be big flirts and I'm really worried they'll say something, maybe I'll talk to them before we leave. Standing in front of my closet I was trying to figure out what I wanted to wear. Finally deciding to go with a blue shirt and blue jeans. For shoes I just wore some white nike runners. After getting my clothes on and doing my hair I made a groupchat.
Me, Archie, Reggie,and Sweet pea
J: "hey guys I need to ask you something."
A,R,S: " What is it bro? "
J: "Ok so I know how you guys can be, but I'd really appreciate it if you wouldn't hit on betty. Can you guys do that ?"
R: "ooooo whats wrong? Jones got a crush...?
A: "yeah got the hot's for her or whatever."
S: " *wink wink*
J: "Ok ok that's enough, seriously I mean it dont. don't need her getting uncomfortable and getting a airplane ticket back to Germany."
A: "alright mate we wont, just chill."
R&S: " ^^"
J: " good, we'll be there soon. "

We pulled up to a diner called pops were we would be meeting up with them, my mom had let me drive her car because mine had been having trouble and has been in the shop for a couple months. We got out and walked up to the door when I went to open it betty started talking.
B: " Do you think they'll like me? " she said wiping her hands on her jeans
J: " No, they'll love you don't worry about it. Ok? " I said assuring her everything was gonna be fine
B: " ok, let's get this done" she said
J: "Are you sure your ok with this, we could probably reschedule I'm sure they wouldn't mind?" I said
B: " no, no I wouldn't wanna do that to them. I'll be fine, let's go. She said giving me an assured smile
J: "Ok.." I said opening the door
I gestured my hand for her to walk in and she did, me walking in right after her I quickly spotted them sitting at a big booth and I walked over towards them betty following behind.
Stopping in front of the booth they were at veronica quickly jumped up and gave betty a hug almost making her fall over the process.
J: " hey, hey, hey careful jeez.... " I said scoffing
V: " sorry, it's just so nice to have another girl with us. No offence girl's. " she said looking back at Cheryl and Toni
C&T: "none taken" they said in unison
V: " plus I've been DYING to meet you " she said
B: " well it's very nice to meet you.... " she said trailing off looking for a name
V: " OH, oh where are my manners? I'm Veronica but you can call me V or not? " she said
B: "Ok, uh you can call me.....B" she said
They smiled at each other, then veronica sat down and Betty's smile dropped.
I noticed she was glaring Kevin and then she started talking before I could ask what was wrong.
