Chapter 13 - Movie Time

*Shōyo's POV*

   I awkwardly sat down on a chair beside Kageyama-Kun. He set up the table and it looked really fancy and pretty. He was looking down at his food as stiff as a rock.

Hinata: Ka-ge-ya-ma
Kageyama: What...
Hinata: What's up with you? You look nervous.
Kageyama: Shut up.
Hinata: Why aren't you looking at me while talking to me?
Kageyama: Why should I?
Hinata: You're weird...
Kageyama: You picking a fight? I'll beat your ass!
Moma Kageyama: Language!

   Tobio's mom came into the room and sat down in front of us.

Moma Kageyama: Tobio, good job on the table!
Kageyama: Thanks...
Moma Kageyama: Let's eat then!

   We all ate in an awkward silence. Kags still hasn't looked away from his plate once and it looks like his mom noticed too.

Hinata: This is great! You cook like a 5 star chef!
Moma Kageyama: Oh thank you! You flatter me~
Hinata: Hehe~
Moma Kageyama: Tobio! Why are you so stiff? Are you shy around Shōyo? 
Kageyama: What? No! 
Moma Kageyama: Then why are you not looking away from your food?
Kageyama: I'm just thinking about something...
Moma Kageyama: Like what?
Kageyama: Nothing special.
Moma Kageyama: Then why don't you share it?
Kageyama: Because it's not important.
Hinata: Uh- Miss, I think we should just leave it... He seems uncomfortable. 
Moma Kageyama: Aww! So sweet! 

*3'd POV*

   The rest of the meal was just as awkward. It was a relief when it ended.

Hinata: Thank you for the delicious meal! 
Kageyama: Thank you for the meal.
Moma Kageyama: No problem! Head on to your room now! Oh, would you boys like a movie or something?
Hinata: Ooh! What movies do you have?
Moma Kageyama: You can come pick one out while Tobio sets up his room.
Hinata: All right! 
Kageyama: Pick out something we'll both like. 
Hinata: Do you have anything about volleyball?
Moma Kageyama: Oh, hmmm... Here we go! This one is about volleyball, but it's mostly roma-
Hinata: YEAH! Volleyball movie!! Volleyball movie!! Thank you, miss!

   And just like that, Hinata took the movie and ran upstairs. 

Moma Kageyama: Hahaha... Oh dear lord. It's a romance movie...

   When Hinata opened the door slowly, he saw Kageyama setting down a blanket on the floor. 

Hinata: Kageyama? You're really okay on the floor?
Kageyama: Well I don't really have a choice, do I?
Hinata: I don't mind sharing your bed...
Kageyama: Of course you don't, but I do. 
Hinata: Suit yourself. 
Kageyama: Whatever... What movie did you choose? 
Hinata: It's a volleyball movie! 
Kageyama: What? I've never seen this one around... Here, let me put it on. 

    Kageyama walked to his TV stand and slid the CD inside the CD reader. Meanwhile, Hinata got comfy in Kageyama's bed. He snuggled up to Kageyama's big pillow for extra warmth. When the setter saw that, he blushed. 

Kageyama: What are you doing?
Hinata: Hugging your pillow. It's more warm and comfortable like this. It reminds me of when me and Natsu used to watch movies together and we'd cuddle. 
Kageyama: Okay... Dumbass...
Hinata: This is smart! 
Kageyama: Keep telling yourself that. 

   The movie started and when Hinata saw that Kageyama had full attention on the movie, he basically inhaled Kageyama's pillow. It smelled like him so much and it wasn't like cuddling with Natsu at all, it was like cuddling with Kageyama, which was even better for him. This made the human tangerine blush like crazy, but he slowly sank into the the movie. 

   It started off with a boy practicing volleyball and somewhere near the middle, he met this girl and they started to grow closer and fall in love. Both of the boys were confused, since volleyball was practically gone in the movie. There were no cool matches, it was just that the main character was a volleyball player. Nonetheless, they were intrigued as to where the plot was going. 

  It was around the moment when Hinata slowly started to fall asleep when there was a kissing scene. He could barely keep his eyes open when the main characters were kissing in the rain while crying. He finally closed his eyes and imagined if that were him and Kageyama. He imagined it so hard that it was like it was really happening. He could practically feel Kageyama's lips touching his. With that idea in his head, he doze off. 

*Kageyama's POV*

   The whole day had been awkward ever since that little shrimp took my shirt. He looked so fucking cute, I couldn't take it. I was just happy we were hanging out together again, I felt so empty without him, but I disliked the fact that I was a nervous wreck the whole time. 

  It was when we were watching that stupid movie and a fucking kissing scene came up. I wanted to kiss Hinata so bad. I looked over to him on my bed. I was laying down on the floor next to it. I had laid down a thicker blanket as a mattress, but it wasn't comfortable at all. My back ached. Hinata was asleep. "Maybe if I kissed him right now, he wouldn't know..." I thought. It looked so tempting that I didn't even realize I already crawled up next to him and looking down on him. I rested my arms on the bedside as I stared at his lips. 

  "Fuck it." I kissed him. Whilst it probably didn't mean anything to that shrimp, I felt amazing. I felt relieved, like I did something I've wanted to do for years. And that was it. I've always wanted to be with Hinata, spend time with him, go on dates, hug him, kiss him... I've wanted those things for so long now. I was an idiot back then when I turned him down. I didn't want to end up hurting him, but I guess I did worse instead. 

   I checked again if he was still sleeping, which he was. He's so adorable hugging my pillow like that... I wish I could switch places with that stupid pillow... He wouldn't notice... Right? 

*3'd POV*

   Hinata woke up in the morning and he felt the pillow he was hugging. He took a good whiff again and he was surprised that the smell was even stronger. To be honest, the pillow was way bigger and warmer... And maybe not as soft? And it was moving!? 

   He opened his eyes to see that he was face-to-face with Kageyama. All this time, he was cuddling with that giant raven head. He screamed and fell off the bed, waking Kageyama.
