Facing Realities

Bakugou's POV

All I remember is falling asleep in Kirishima's arms, everything hurting. I couldn't stand on my own two feet, I could barely speak. I felt so weak and I hated, every feeling in my body told me I was worthless. It didn't matter though cause Kirishima was there to support me, to love me.

I woke up in the cold nurses office. I started to sit up, struggling to get up. I suddenly felt a pair of hands on my body, helping me sit up.

"Hey, how you feeling?" It was Kirishima, had that dumbass stayed here the whole time?

"Like shit." I hear him let out a soft laugh.

"Well you did sleep for over 24 hours. How are your legs?" He asks, turning his face to the side. I felt my face heat up, he looks adorable like this.

"Feel better than my arms, I can probably walk."

"Thanks good! Principal Nezu asked me to bring you to his office when you're awake and able to move. Wanna go now?" I just nod my head, I don't want to stay in this weird bed for longer than I have too.

As we made our way to the principal's office, Kirishima put an arm around my waist, pulling me right next to him as we walk. Since we started dating, Kiri's gone through a growth spurt and now was almost a head taller than me. I caught myself staring up at him, taking in his beauty. He turned to me and smiled, I quickly turned away and scoffed.

"Ya know, you need to be careful when you're staring at someone, they could think it's creepy." He teased, that dumbass.

"Shut up dumbass. I was just looking cause you've gotten taller." We reach principal Nezu's office.

"You like it?" He asks, kinda seductively. He turns to face me, placing a finger under my chin and lifting my face up to look at him.

"S-shut up weirdo. We're here." He laughed a little at this, god he's so stupid! We enter the office where principal Nezu was sitting at his desk.

Kirishima's POV

I didn't really realize the increasing height difference until Bakugou pointed it out. I kinda liked it though, made me feel more manly I guess.

We sat in the two chairs facing Principal Nezu's desk.

"Why hello Kirishima! Thank you for bringing Bakugou! Feel free to stay if you'd like, though I'm sure you have work to do." I sit down, no way am I leaving Bakugou alone right now.

"Oh if it's alright I'm planning on staying. I would like to make sure Bakugou gets back to his dorm all right." I turn to face him, smiling.

"I'm sure Bakugou is happy to have such a wonderful friend as yourself Kirishima!" Haha, friend, "Now Bakugou, please explain what happened."

Bakugou started to explain what happened, starting from when he left to get his phone to when I found him. I regretted let him go alone, I could have protected him.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you Bakugou," Principal Nezu started after Bakugou finished with his story, "We here at UA, as both of you know, are a prestigious school that prides ourselves in a safe school environment. I will make sure Monoma and his friends get expelled until further notice. Bakugou, please take as much time as you need to recover. You guys may leave."

"Thank you." I said to principal Nezu and did a little bow, he was our principal after all. Bakugou and I walked out of his office. When we were a few paces away, I grabbed Bakugou's hand and squeezed it.

"I'm sorry." I say.

"What? You have nothing to apologize for idiot."

"Well I feel like I should. I was the one who let you go on your own. If I had gone with you I could have protected you and-" I was interrupted by a pair of lips smashing against mine. His lips were so soft, and I wanted more. The kiss was quick though, just long enough to get me to be quiet.
