"So let me get this straight... you didn't have sex with her?" Kenny asked as him, Kyle, and Stan walked into school.

"No! Why does everyone think that was my intention?!" Kyle exclaimed.

"I don't know dude. You were talking so fast over the phone last night when we were trying to light those fire crackers. I didn't really catch what you said." Kenny shrugged.

"Yeah. Anyway, I thought that was the whole reason you decided to go through with buying her movie tickets." Stan added.

"No!" He groaned.

"Whatever, dude, so what happened then?" Stan asked.

"Didn't you say you ditched her?" Kenny asked.

"Yes. I totally walked out on her." Kyle sighed.

"Really?" Stan blinked at him.

"Damn, Kyle." Kenny said as he took a sip from some random drinking fountain.

"Wasn't she pissed, dude?" Stan asked.

"Yeah. She was blowing up my phone and calling me a million times. But when I didn't respond, she kinda ended things by saying she was dumping me and never talking to me again. So I was like... okay cool." He shrugged.

"So I guess you really are just gonna be single." Stan concluded from Kyle's story.

"Well... actually..." Kyle smiled at the ground.

"Wait," Kenny grabbed his shoulders as he caught up with them again, "There's another girl?"

"No uh... it's the same girl." He said.

"Who?" Stan and Kenny both questioned.

"Well, while we were at the movies... Y/n was there and she was talking to me about how Trent was being a real fuck face to her." Kyle began.

"Dude, no way!" Stan exclaimed.

"Hold on, Kyle, you can't just let this girl play back-and-forthsies with you and Trent." Kenny suddenly warned him.

"No, just listen. Trent asked her out again or something, and she wasn't ready to date him because of her ex, and she started... crying." He said.

"Girls cry all the time. How is this special?" Kenny raised a brow.

"Because she cried to me. And she said she noticed how I was acting since she started hanging out with him. She really cares about how I feel. Isn't that nuts?!" He grinned.

"Huh..." Kenny thought as he looked forward.

"That's cool that she was thinking about you. But how do you know she's not still into Trent?" Stan asked.

"Well, I really don't know. But she seems kind of... scared of him. I mean, not in a way that makes her want to avoid him. But in a... 'I don't want anyone to get hurt' kinda way." He said.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Stan gave him a weird look.

"I don't know, dude. You would've had to been there and heard what she said. My point is... I think I might have a shot with her again." He smiled at him.
