A/N: This is going to be a bit of an extra long chapter, just giving you a heads up ♥️♥️

Kole's POV

Holy fuck, she's fine...
She was, well she looked like, I wanted to - damn...
She was looking at me in disbelief with her doe - like blue-grey eyes,as for why, I don't know. Her long, straight hair was right above her ass, and it was an obviously dyed mixture of a dark grey and blue black, and it fit her perfectly.

Her heart shaped face consisted of a cute button nose, sculptured perfectly, like the rest of her. Her Cupid's bow must've been surgically enhanced, because it couldn't be so naturally perfect. Her skin was of a very lightly tanned variety, showing that one of her parents must have been Latino, like both of mine were.

And don't even let me proceed to describe her body, which didn't look like that of those stick-thin models my aunt always tried to set me up with. Her top half was slender, her waist must be a twenty two, but come down to that pretty little ass of hers, which wasn't little at all. Her legs were so beautiful and long, they went on forever, and -

"Son?" My dad cut me out of my thoughts, a knowing smirk on his face. "This is your new roommate, Liana Reigns, the one I told you about. Liana, my son, Kole Asher."

Whhaattt?!?!??! Roommate? Scratch everything, she was ugly... Well, she's not, but I still hate her now.

"Wait," she said, a spark of recognition in her eyes, "Kole Asher?! Like, the Kole Asher? Basketball Kole Asher?! Wow..." I scoffed.

"Yeah, I said, returning to my phone, "You mighta heard of me on the news," I took a quick look at her in her blue worn out dungarees, dirty and equally worn out black Converse, and pale blue shirt, "Or, maybe read it in the newspaper." I couldn't help it, it slipped out of my mouth before I realized it.

She looked at me with even more disbelief than before. My dad gave me a look which said, You're lower than a newspaper... I don't know, my dad was kind of a nut job, and his facial expressions mirrored his feelings perfectly. And right now, he was facially screaming, We will have a talk...

I just shrugged. Just then, my mom waltzed into the room. Oh my gosh...

"Hey, people! Whaddup?" Oh, my mom is gonna be the death of me. I didn't even look at her as I sidestepped her and went up the stairs into my room, but not before I overheard my mom sighing in relief, "The search is over!" I don't know what search, but it better not concern me and that blue-grey eyed goddess, I mean, sewer rat.

I swear, I was never this cruel to anyone, but I had decided not to like her. My room was my personal space, and I didn't understand why I had to share a room with her, even more so without my permission! I think that is the main reason my heart has set out to loathe her. I could haveaybe had an opinion...

I was just falling asleep when my mom burst into my room. Oh, fudgeblast...

"Mom, I don't think that the sign on the door could be clearer!" She ignored me and jumped in my bed next to me after grabbing my ice cream from my fridge. I really do have to get a lock for my fridge...

My mom smacked my head, making me turn to look at her. "Hey, I don't know what that girl said, but I'm pretty sure she hasn't said anything, knowing you." She looked me straight in the eyes.

"Kole? Just give her a chance, okay? She's been through a lot, and as for the rooming situation, just remember that everything happens for a reason, okay?" She smiled, a small smile. "Now, I'm going shopping for Liana, and you, try to be kind and answer any question she has. And don't be rude, please."
