Harry POV

"Hi, I'm James. I'm the executive producer for Radio 1. Do you mind if I have a word with you in my office?" He asked. Charlie, timidly shook her head, probably thinking she was in trouble for intruding the famous radio show.

I stood up and followed my girlfriend to the door until a hand hit my chest.

"Alone" James said, giving me a warning look. I felt nervous but obeyed and sat back down. "So I heard you on the radio.." Was all I heard until their footsteps became faint and their voices muffled.

"Shit! Do you think something bad happened?" I asked, looking back at the door, in hopes that maybe that whole situation didn't happen and Charlie was still in the room.

"I'm not sure, mate, but I'm sure its not bad! I mean the guy knew she was coming" I only shrugged, waiting for them to come back.

Charlie POV

"So, I heard you on the radio" James started.

"Look, I'm so sorry that I came in without asking! I shouldn't have come here, it was only Harry's plan. I'm studying communications in radio hosting and what not and well I want to move back to London and we thought maybe I could intern here or work here, it was all a mistake-" Before I could continue on with my rant, James stopped me.

"I don't understand why you think me calling you into my office was a bad thing" He said. I looked at him confused. "Charlie, in the past hour I've been getting requests to have you work at our station. Although most of the request are probably because you are dating one of the biggest musicians today, but I was listening to the show while you were on, you are a peoples person. We would love to have someone like you on our team."

"Are you serious?"

He nodded in response. "How long have you been studying communications?" James asked.

"I'm in my third year" I stated.

"Maybe you can transfer to a college around here next year and intern until you get your Bachelor's and you can work here fulltime."

"Oh my god! That would be amazing!" I gushed.

"I'm going to need you to fill out one of these applications and bring it in when you start. Why don't I copy down your information and we can keep in touch with everything? And if you are ever in London in the next year and have nothing to do, we would love to have you drop in and assist!"

"Thank you so much, James! I'm looking forward to working here" I said, giving him a hug he had initated.

"it's not a problem, but I'm sure you're boyfriend is freaking out right now so why don't you go back to him" He suggested I nodded and thanked him again before walking back to the studio.

"Um hey" I said, trying my best to hide the grin begging to be shown on my face.

"What happened? Why did he call you in?" Harry asked, rushing to my side.

I looked down at the ground and let out a whimper. "I don't really want to talk about it" Harry engulfed me in a tight hug, rubbing my back. "It's just you're so gullible and I got a job here" I sobbed.

"Aw I'm so sorry- wait what?" Harry said, taking my shoulders and pushing me back so he could look at me.

"Gotcha!" I said, sticking my tongue out at him. Harry humphed and then leaned in, biting my tongue that was still pointed out at him. "You just bit my tongue!" I said after squealing from the tingles I got.

"You scared me half to death" He said.

"Stop being such a protective boyfriend then!" I teased. He gave me a sarcastic smirk and then walked back to the seat.
