Love made of stone: Part Three

Nya sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror, getting ready for her "first date" with Jay. It took a month since getting released from the curse for him to gather the courage to ask her out. 

Within that month, Nya learnt about her friends lives with their wiped and replaced memories. Kai thought he was an only child, and lived with their parents until he moved to the city and met Skylor at Chen's Noodles. Nya was upset to hear the two got married last year, as she and Skylor were discussing wedding plans before Nadakhan had attacked. 

Cole thought he had stayed at Marty's Oppenheimers, instead of running away, and became a dancer like his dad wanted. He had met Seliel a couple of years ago when doing a performance at the village of Nom, and the two had been dating ever since.

Zane and Pixal thought the two were just simple androids, made as science experiments. Zane doesn't remember much about his father Dr Julien other than the fact that he built him. He and Pixal works at Borg Industries. 

Lloyd doesn't remember anything about Garmadon, not even his name, and thought the man had abandoned him when he was born. He thinks he grew up with his mother and Wu.

Harumi doesn't remember anything about being the Jade Princess, and thought she grew up in an orphanage after her parents died in a car crash.

Jay's past hadn't changed that much, only thinking that he left his parents Junkyard to work as a mechanic in the city instead of training to be a ninja.

Wu thought he quit teaching after he failed with Morro, but the others often visit him at his tea shop for advice.

There was also a huge problem with their wiped memories, they had all forgotten how to be ninja. With no one to protect the town, crime in Ninjago had been at an all time high. No one had dared stood up to the criminals until a month ago, when Nya took out the SOG. Since then, people had been trusting her to keep the city safe, but Nya knew she wouldn't be able to do it on her own much longer. 

A small knock at the door interrupted Nya's train of thought.

"You ready for your date?" The door opened to reveal Skylor. "Jay's outside and ready to take you to the Mega Monster Amusement Park."

"Yeah, I'm ready, just a little nervous I guess." Nya said, not technically lying as she was nervous about Jay not getting his memories back. She had chosen MMAP in hopes that he would remember their real first date. She even wore the same dress from then as well.

The two went downstairs to see Jay by the entrance, holding a bouquet of roses and looking nervous. "H-hey Nya... You look nice..."

"Thank you. You're not so bad yourself." Nya hooked her arm around Jay's and the two headed out.

"So... What do you want to do first?" Jay asked as Nya looked around the amusement park. She noticed that there were a couple of new rides, but other than that, the park looked the same as always.

"How about we go on that ride?" Nya said, pointing to the ride she and Jay went on when he unlocked his true potential.

"Uhh okay..." Nya practically dragged Jay over to the queue for the ride, but as Jay looked around, he couldn't help but get a sense of Deja Vu.

'Did you know I was the first to get my knots badge in little scouts?' 

Jay clutched his head in pain, not knowing where it was suddenly coming from.
