Part 23

In the mess...
All the Captains & lieutenants were chilling out in the mess. When Majors reached there all  juniors became quite.

The Majors took their seats & Raj addressed them.
Raj- Hey you please carry on! Don't be so formal...

Huda- (in his usual way) Sir ji yaha koi formal abnormal nahi hai... Hum sab ko aapki story suni hai... Bataiye na aap dono kaise bache Lala ke saazish se...

Nav- Hmm... Toh tum aapne Rajveer Sir se hi kyu nahi puchh lete... (Raj looked shockingly at him) Kahaniyan banane... I mean sunane me expert hai ye banda...

Saying so he was about to leave when Raj held his hand.
Raj- (annoyingly) Mujhe phasa kar tum kaha chale?

Nav- (nervously) Suriji ke pass...
But Raj didn't leave his hand.
Arjun- Rajveer! Leave him...
Raj reluctantly let him go & Naveen literally ran out.

Naveen didn't like to remember his bitter past, it always traumatized him, so he always try to avoid the topic as much as possible. Arjun & Karan knew this very well, hence they always help him to get out from such situations.

Karan- Jab Naveen custody se bhag gaya tha tab mujhe aur Arjun ko Bakshi Sir aur Sabnis Sir ne bheja tha Naveen ke rescue ke liye... Par jab hum waha pahuche toh dekha ki Naveen ke request par Rajveer ne usse shoot kar diya tha....
(Rajveer tightly closed his eyes in dismay remembering the heart-wrenching moment.)

Arjun- Phir hum Naveen ko le gaye aur uski jagah kisi aur ki body rakh di jisko Naveen ka face diya gaya tha....

Yudi- Sir ye karna jaruri tha?

Arjun- Bahut jaruri tha Capt... Agar uss jagah Naveen ki body nahi milti toh wo log Naveen ki family ko merciless torcher karte!

Huda- Toh Sir postmortem report ka kya hua?

Karan- Uski toh naubat hi nahi aai kyunki unn logo ne Naveen ko slow poison diya tha toh jahir si baat hai wo log postmortem hone hi nahi dete... Naveen ka treatment hua aur wo undercover duty join karne laga...

As soon Karan finished, Naveen came there holding a tray with many coffee mugs.
Nav- (excitedly) Pesh hai.... Naveen ki haathon se bani super special coffee... (Karan & Abhi were about to take one but listening the word special, both gulped down in fear, exchanged worried looks & instantly pulled their hands back) Taste karke batao kaisa hai... Ye lo Naina!

Naina- (smiling nervously took the cup from his hand) Thanks bhaiya! (Naveen smiled in response, Raj was observing her rapid changing expressions very keenly, & was adoring her, she was about to take a sip when she looked at Akriti & an idea came in her mind) Purvi! Akriti! Tum dono ko kuch kaam tha na... (Both looked at her confusingly) Chal Puja dono ki urgent help karni hai hume... (& she literally ran from there, dragging all the girls along with her, Ali got a call so he excused himself.)

Raj- Bachh gayi!
Arjun- (whispering) Ye sab toh bach gayi (glaring the coffee mugs) par humara kya...?
Abhi- Only God knows!!

Nav- (loudly) Naina! Coffee atleast taste toh kar leti kitni mehnat ki thi maine🙁....

Gunny- Yaar Naveen tu toh Suriji se milne gaya tha na toh unse hi baatein karta na... (Fearfully seeing the coffee) phir itni mehnat kyu ki tune?
