Part 24

At midnight....
The person startled hearing the sounds, anxiously looked here & there & hurriedly hide behind the cupboards. Naina stepped inside & went near Vidya who opened her eyes abruptly listening the footsteps, making Naina froze in fear.

Witnessing a scared Naina standing in front of her, Vidya couldn't helped but giggled.
Naina- (sighing in relief) Gosh! You scared me!

Vidya- Is it so... (Naina nodded positively) Oh! I'm sorry for that...

Naina- (helped her to sit properly) Why you sorry? I'm the one who needs to say sorry for disturbing you at this hour!

Vidya- No need! Anyways aapko neend nahi aa rahi kya?

Naina- (nervously) Ha mujhe bilkul neend nahi aa rahi thi...
Vidya- (smiling mischievously😏) Neend nahi aa rahi ya shona hi nahi chahte??

Naina was taken aback, she tried to change the topic but Vidya didn't let her, so finally she spilt beans in front of her.
Naina- (smiling sheepishly) Actually it might sound foolish but yes... Mai shona hi nahi chahti (Vidya gave her "I knew that" look) Mujhe lagta hai jaise mai ek bahut hi khubsurat sa sapna dekh rahi hu... Darr lagta hai.. Agar aankhen band kar lungi toh shayad mere ye khawab toot jayega 😔

Vidya took her hands in her & squeezed a little bit to assure her.
Vidya- Iss sapne ko haqeeqat banane ke liye humne din raat ek kar diye... Aapka koi sapna koi khawab nahi tootega... Ye mera.. Vidya Singh Shekhawat ka vaada hai aapse!

Naina- (smiling a little) I knew that you're the only one who could help me out... But... Don't you think agar ye promise wo karte toh...  It would have been much better!! 😅

Vidya- (smirking) Wo bhi jarur karenge! Itni jaldi kya hai... Have little more patience! 

Naina- (frustrated) I don't think so... Rajveer aapne farz aur duty ke samne sare kasmein/vaade bhul jate hai😒.....
Vidya- Hmm... You're absolutely right! Waise (teasingly) Kya baat hai Rajveer Sir se sidha Rajveer... Not bad😉 (Naina blushed.)

Naina- Okay now shut your mouth.... (Vidya put finger on her lips) Doc ne tumhe jyada baat karne se mana kiya hai...
Vidya- Par aapko nahi na... Aap batao aapne itne saal kya-kya kiye? Of course! Bhai sa ko yaad karne ke alawa 😉

Like this their talks went on for sometime while Gunny was praying to God to end their conversation as soon as possible as his feet were going numb by standing for so long.

He's crushing his fate.
Gunny- (in mind) Kya musibat hai... Dinbhar toh sab yahi adda jamaye baithe the atleast raat ko toh baksh dete...

"Yup! Lagta hai sabko aaj hi sari baatein karni hai... Raat ko bhi aaram nahi karne dete..."

His imagination wali Vidya appeared next to him, yawning as if she's sleepy.
Gunny- (mumbled) Ab tum yahan kyu aa gayi?

Vidya- Aapko company dene... Aap toh mere paas aaye nahi🙄 Kitna wait kiya maine isliye mai hi aa gayi... (Gunny facepalmed) Waise aaj ka din kaisa tha?

Gunny- (sighing) Na hi pucho toh behtar hai😔....
Vidya- (arching her brows) Kyu... Aisa kya hua? Bataiye na please...

Flashback....

All the majors were present in the common corridor of their rooms. (Karan & Arjun were staying in Gunny's room coz it's just a matter of 1 or 2 days so they wanted to cherish their trainings days where as NavRaj were in Abhi's room). Gunny was already very sad as he didn't get any chance to talk with Vidya & here Naveen was creating havoc over Shalini's sarcastic remark.
