Back in Enchancia, Varian took out his test tubes and began to decompose the sample of pixie dust given to them until they finally found out the ingredients inside it. "Now all that's left to do is recreate this during class tomorrow," Varian declared.

The next day at Royal Prep, students were going to take turns presenting their projects. In one hand, Prince Desmond held a beaker full of blue liquid; the other hand placed a book on the table. He turned to a certain page then poured a drop of the liquid onto the page. Before everyone's eyes, a projection came out from the book and displayed exactly what was going on in the story. It was as if it was showing them a movie. Desmond explained how the potion demonstrates illusions based on whatever is written. Some people may not be fond of reading, so why should they read the book when they can watch it? "Amazing job with the illusion potion, Prince Desmond!" Merlin exclaimed as the prince closed the book. "Now, who is next?"

 "Now, who is next?"

"I am!" Sofia cried. She went up to the front desk and went, "But before I begin, is it ok if I introduce my friend? He really helped me with it! He's the best alchemist you could ever wish for." At the last statement, Desmond widened his eyes then sadly lowered his head. Merlin gave permission and Varian stepped into the room. Automatically, Hildegard's first impression of him wasn't that great. She gave him a disgusted look, complaining about his clothes. Varian overheard her comments and gave a depressive sigh. "This is Varian! He's going to be my helper today. We're going to create pixie dust!" Sofia announced. Merlin was shocked and stated how no student has created pixie dust before. "Then we'll be the first," Sofia confidently replied.

Sofia pulled out a bowl and began to sprinkle gold dust into it. Varian and Sofia started to add small amounts of different substances into the bowl. At one point Varian took out a bag of pegasus fur and initiated putting in two strands, but accidentally put in three. "Oh no! I put in too much! Hurry princess we have to add one and a half times the amount of every substance before something goes incredibly wrong!" he panicked as the bowl started to shake. The whole room gasped and Sofia and Varian quickly measured the quantities needed. "And... done!" Varian said after he added the last sprinkle of gold dust.

The class saw as the bowl once again became steady. Varian gave a sigh of relief. The rest of the class followed, except for Desmond who just crossed his arms and mumbled to himself, "It would've gone by quicker and be more efficient if he added dragon scales to stabilize it..."

"And now, princes and princesses, I give to you our creation of pixie dust!" Varian cried, holding up the bowl. He took out a bit of the dust then slightly showered some of it on one of his beakers. The beaker then began to float as Varian went, "Tada!"

"Impressive!" Hildegard stated.

"What!?" Desmond cried as he looked at the dark-haired princess

"What!?" Desmond cried as he looked at the dark-haired princess. Then Sofia sprinkled some of the dust on herself and was floating as well. Merlin added how their project was outstanding. The students all stood up and gave a standing ovation while Desmond continued to sit with envy and shock in his eyes.

Everyone all went to join Varian and Sofia as Varian individually added pixie dust to each person. Amber looked back to see Desmond still sitting at his desk and disappointedly yet angrily whispered how no one seemed impressed with his project. Everyone seemed to be amused with Varian, though. Amber came up and teased, "Awww, Desmond. Are you jealous?"

"Maybe a little..." he admitted.

Amber smiled and sat next to him confirming, "Well, you're still my favorite smart person

A smile returned to the prince's face as he replied, "Thanks Amber."
