"Babe where are you now!!" Nma spoke over the phone "That was exactly what you said ten minutes, just be fast" Five minutes later Ronke was up in the apartment with a box of Pizza and a bucket of ice cream in her hands, immediately Nma heard the click of the door shutting she ran out of her room at full speed to grab the food her friend was holding but before she could get hold of it Ronke switched the direction. "Ronke stop messing with me now!" Nma whined like a baby that was near to tears. "Children of nowadays ehhn no respect at all. You can't even pretend to miss me, Oya hug me first" Nma wrapped Ronke in a tight hug "Happy now? Pls can I have it?" Nma said with both of her hands stretched out, the pizza and icecream was dumped in her hands and she hugged the bucket of icecream with one hand while she carried the pizza in the other.
"How do I face him?" She asked with a mouth full. "It's your boyfriend you are talking about Nma not a stranger, besides Daniel is a real sweet guy and not one to get easily angry so that shouldn't be a problem" Ronke said as she helped herself to some icecream. "That exactly my point he doesn't get angry because he is a big softie, how do I get out of not calling him for the whole three and half weeks that he had been away? Hmmnn!! tell me!!" She stuffed her mouth with more pizza, Ronke just stared at her friend as she chewed like a goat. "Then it got worse, he called me yesterday and my first words where what is it this time?"..... "You are something else ohh, how do you not call your man for the entire time he was away, how did that happen? Did you forget you have man or what?" Nma shovelling more icecream from the bucket into her cup. "I was going to call but then I kept pushing it and pushing it till I ended up here and you do know that it only got worse because of that dumb fuck with a pea-sized brain".... "Who? Josh" Ronke rolled her eyes at her friend "Hmmnhmmm" Nma nodded her head in agreement as she busied herself with her icecream. "Speaking of Josh, you have to give him a call and go for that dinner" Ronke snatched the pizza box and icecream from her Friend. "Ahhhahhhn I am not done" Nma whined. "Yes you are it's almost six and if you eat anymore you wouldn't be able to eat at the dinner. So get up, give him a call and go get dressed"........ "I really don't want to but then I have thought hard about it an it is best I actually go, I am not sure if he trying to play smooth or God's helping hands but I just smell something fishy" Ronke stood up from the couch and pulled her friend up and turned her to the direction of her room "You can keep smelling it as you have your bath and get ready"
Dressed in a two pieced set, a lilac velvet blazer and pants Nma left the house with her friend still in it trying to cook up something to eat. Nma has never been one to enjoy cooking so it is mostly can food and cookies that filled up her kitchen. Also let's not forget the wine, she has a whole cabinet filled with the best wines. Ronke ended up cooking spaghetti. Nma had earlier called Josh to let him know that she had agreed on meeting him and that he shouldn't cancel his reservations. He offered to pick her up but then she declined and reminded him that it was strictly business.
