A few months later, at lunch, Tori doesn't eat.
"Tori. You not gunna eat?" Robbie asks.
Tori shakes her head.
"Tori you gotta eat." Jade says.
"I'll eat when i wanna eat." Tori says.
Jade looks down. She gets up, puts her food in the bin and walks to the janitors closet. Jade closes the door and punches a wall making her knuckle bleed a little. She touches her knuckle and gives a sharp inhale.
"Ah fuck." Jade says.
The janitors closet door opens revealing Tori.
"There you are." Tori says.
Jade nods. Jade's looking for bandages or anything to cover her knuckles.
"What are you looking for?" Tori asks.
"Bandages." Jade replies.
"Why?" Tori questions.
"I punched the wall and my knuckles started bleeding." Jade says.
"Why'd you punch the wall?" Tori asks.
Jade shrugs and continues looking for bandages. When she finds them, she sits on the floor and covers her hand. Tori sits next to her.
"Tori." Jade says.
"Jade what happened?" Tori asks.
Jade sighs.
"You went to go get out coffees and Beck came up to me. He told me he needed to tell me something so i nodded. Then he kissed me. I tried to push him off but he didn't let go. Then you saw us." Jade says.
Tori nods.
"Sorry i didn't let you explain it. I just needed time to fully comprehend what happened. Guess who showed up at my house." Tori says.
"Who?" Jade asks.
"Trina." Tori says.
"Are you serious?" Jade asks.
Tori nods.
"I thought she wasn't allowed near you." Jade says.
"She said sorry. For trying to kick me out." Tori says.
Jade shakes her head.
"Unbelieveable." Jade says.
Tori laughs.
"I yelled at her." Tori states.
"You telling me that Tori Vega had it in her to shout at someone? Wow. Did not expect that." Jade says.
Tori laughs.
"Yeah well i spent a lot of time with you." Tori says.
Jade laughs.
"I miss spending time with you." Jade says.
Tori looks down. She looks up and Jade who's staring at her hand.
"Jade." Tori says.
Jade looks at her. Tori leans in and Jade closes the gap. After a little while, they pull out.
"I missed doing that." Jade says.
"Me too." Tori says.
"Then can we try us again?" Jade asks.
Tori smiles and nods. Jade smiles and they hug.
"I'm sorry." Jade says.
"No we need that apology from Beck. You did nothing wrong." Tori says.
Jade nods.
"Can we just say that we made friends for now? Is that okay?" Tori asks.
"Yeah that's fine. I dont mind." Jade says.
Tori smiles.
"Come on. You gotta eat." Jade says.
"I'm not really hungry." Tori says.
Jade gives her a look.
"Seriously Tori. You gotta eat." Jade says.
"I'll eat at home." Tori says.
Jade nods.
After school, they go to Jade's house.
"MATT!" Jade yells.
Matt walks into the living room, sees Tori and squeezes her a little tight.
"My god." Tori says.
"He squeezes people he hasn't seen in a long time." Jade says.
"Kinda gathered that." Tori says.
"I missed you a lot." Matt says.
"Missed you too." Tori says.
He hasn't let go.
"Matt. Let her breath." Jade says.
He loosens his grip.
"I meant let her go." Jade says.
He lets go and laughs then goes into his bedroom.
"He has no boundaries sometimes." Jade says.
"It's cute." Tori says.
"Yeah when you dont wanna breath." Jade says.
Tori laughs.
"You need to eat Tori. You said you'd eat after school." Jade says.
"Okay fine." Tori says.
She grabs an apple and Jade gives her a look.
"What?" Tori asks.
"I said something to eat." Jade says.
"Thats what i have in my hand." Tori says.
"No you nature in your hand." Jade says.
Tori laughs.
"I'm not that hungry Jade. An apple is as good as we're getting." Tori says.
After a while, the two go to bed. The next morning, Tori's phone rings.
"Fuck sake." Tori mumbles.
She answers the call and puts it on speaker. Jade then sits up.
"Yeah." Tori says.
"Wow. You sound cheerful." Beck says.
"The fuck do you want?" Tori asks.
"To apologise." Beck says.
Tori rolls her eyes.
"Tori I'm sorry." Beck says.
"You said you're sorry now lemme sleep." Tori says.
"Wait." Beck says.
"What?!" Tori says.
"Can us three meet up at Nozu?" Beck asks.
Jade shakes her head.
"Be there at 5pm. So that gives you enough time to work on what you're gunna say to us." Tori says.
"Thanks for giving me this chance." Beck says.
The call ends and she lays back down.
"Why'd you do that?" Jade asks.
"Well we gotta talk to him. Its been like 2 months." Tori says.
"Couldn't we have waited about 70 years first?" Jade asks.
Tori looks at Jade.
"Okay. Okay fine." Jade says.
They get up and look at the time.
"Why the fuck is he ringing us at 8am?" Jade asks.
"To ask if we can meet up at Nozu." Tori says.
Jade rolls her eyes.
"I am aware." Jade says.
"Why ask then?" Tori questions.
"Shh." Jade says.
They get dressed and at 5, are at Nozu. When they go in, they see Beck.
"Remind me why we decided to do this." Jade says.
"Cos he's our friend." Tori says.
Jade rolls her eyes.
"K fine." Jade says.
