"Momentum is key"
I partook in a 10,6 km run once a few years ago. I remember that at one point during the run I got really tired and wanted to pause and take a break, but I refused because I knew pausing for a few moments would prolong my finishing time by a lot and that it would be hard to start running again since I was so tired. So instead of stopping I slowed my pace and I slowed it by a lot but I kept going. That strategy really helped me during that run and it has stuck with me ever since.
I plan on doing the same during this "Blossoming" challenge. When the going gets tough and my motivation falters I will not stop, instead I will slow down recollect myself and keep going.
On the second day of this journey, I cleared my desk for five minutes. I didn't do a lot I shuffled some papers around put a few things away which didn't belong on my desk, I am referring to a about half a dozen hair ties which I don't remember putting on my desk and some other curious objects which have no business residing on a desk meant for studying, I honestly don't get myself sometimes. Anyway now I am typing away on my laptop which is actually perched happily on my desk and not on a mountain of random papers. I proudly call that progress (and try to keep my sarcasm regarding that statement at bay).
Other steps I took towards a better me included taking an online class about successful weightloss that I have started. It is an eight week course with a class each week which contains some information about nutrition and a few tasks which need to be completed each week. I have already lost 0,5 kg so far, so happy dance for that.
I also took a lesson with a private tutor for one of my university modules as I really want to pass all my exams and being tutored has already made me feel somewhat confident about managing that.
That is all for now, I would love any comments from you guys about what you are doing and how you are trying to become better versions of yourselves.
