In Case the Story has become a jumbled up mess for you, here's a quick overview of the characters in the book in case you need to look something up. Keep in mind, that these are just my character notes, so it's not very organized / structured.

King Deimos 

King of Umbria, Father of Orion 

Secret Telepathic Powers (can mind control others) - but tells everyone he's a strong-arm

White, dull wings

Plump Body, Grey Hair, golden wreath of laurel leaves as crown

Queen Rhea

Queen of Umbria, Mother of Orion

Plump / fat, Wings like a pigeon

Elemental Fire Powers (later on can control light as well)

White wings streaked with delicate veins of shimmering gold, golden eyes, black hair, tall & slender

Best friends with Nyx / falls in love with her

Good at: Piano, Violin, Studying, Politics, his Magic

Bad at: Fighting

Likes: Honor, Duty, Structure, Laws, Chocolate Cake, Trust and Truth

Nyx (Nala) Morgenstern

Daughter of Hector Morgenstern

Powers yet undiscovered (will have raw dark magic that she can mold into anything)

Black Wings with little shimmering silver specks - look like a midnight sky 

Silver/White Hair, slender / muscular / athletic

Best friends with Atlas / Orion, falls in love with both

Good at: Fighting / Knives, Dancing, Singing, 

Bad at: Patience, Politics, Magic

Likes: Humans / Rebels, Chocolate Cake, Georgia's Cookies, Music, Stars / the Night, laying on rooftops

Dislikes: Injustice, rules / laws / limitations, 

Atlas

Childhood friend of Nyx from her village

Human, joins the rebellion

Loves Nyx, One year older than Nyx

Copper Curly Thick Hair, Green Eyes, freckles, tall, muscular, mischievous smile, leather necklace with a single feather from Nyx around his neck

Good at: Fighting / Knives, Charming People / Lying / Convincing, Inventing / Machines

Bad at: Patience 

Likes: Nyx, Georgia's Cookies, Rebels

Dislikes: Nephilim Oppression, Royal Family, Injustice, Umbrian Laws

Georgia:

Wife of James, Fat & Old, Human, Grey Hair, raises Nyx after Amora dies, needs cane sometimes
