"I love you, babe." Jennie feels the the lips of her fiance on her cheeks.

"I love you, too." She replies half heartedly with a forced smile.

Everyone in the yacht cheers and raise their glasses at the newly engaged couple's confession of love to each other.

"Kiss!" Someone urges and eventually soon enough, everyone is cheering for them to kiss.

"Let's give the people what they want." Matthew says to Jennie with a wide smile.

All she does is return the smile and close her eyes in anticipation of the incoming kiss. Another round of cheers comes from the crowd right after.

It's starting to get dark and Jennie's a bit tired now from all the talking and standing she did earlier.

"How are you?" Jennie and her best friend, Jisoo are at the upper deck of the yacht where it's only them so they can relax. At her question, Jisoo sees her friend's sorrow right away.

"I'll get over it."

"You don't have to force yourself into getting used to situations all the time, Jen." Jisoo replies softly. Her friend's been forced into situations by her parents all her life and not once did Jennie made a decision based on what she wants. This engagement is another thing she was pushed to by her parents.

"It's what my parents wanted." Jennie admits dejectedly.

"Do you want it?"

"They only want what's best for me and if they think me getting married to Matthew is what's best, then I won't question it."

Jisoo is quick to correct her friend. "What's best for them, they're marrying you off to Matthew because it's what's best for them."

"It's for me too, in the long run."

Jisoo's starting to get frustrated with Jennie's super obedient attitude she got as a result by being manipulated by her parents all her life. The girl has nothing bad to say about her parents when it's clear as day what they're doing to her.

The older Korean sighs. "When are you going to start putting yourself before your parents, huh? You're old enough, you have a job. If I were you, I'd move out and get a place of my own somewhere far. Super far they wouldn't be able to find me." Jisoo shifts on her seat so she can look at Jennie on the eye. "Be honest with me, if one day, for some insane reason, a different life presents itself to you? Where you don't have to follow your parents and all the decisions you will make are decided by you and you only, would you take it?"

Jennie hesitates. "I don't know." That sounds very tempting for Jennie but she knows it will never come true. She's stuck in this life.  "And I have everything I have because of my parents, Jisoo. The least I can do is do what they say."

Jisoo can't help releasing a sarcastic chuckle. "Do what they say? Your whole damn life is dedicated to what they say."

"Jisoo, please. Can we just enjoy today? It's my engagement party." Jennie says pleadingly.

"Yeah," Jisoo can't help but rolling her eyes and scoffing. "You're engaged to a guy you don't even love. And Jeez! What's his cup size? D? His tits are so big."

The younger lady laughs at her friend's vulgarness. "It's his pecs, okay? He works out a lot, that's why."

"Well, it gets bigger than that then I'm going to start getting jealous. Seriously, he has the biggest tits I've ever seen on a man."

Jennie continues laughing at Jisoo's antics. When things subsides, she places her hand on top of Jisoo's as it rests on the deck's railing, startling the older lady from admiring the ocean. "Thanks for coming, Chu. Even when more than half of the things I do, you don't agree with."
