Sitting in the Port with Luffy, Klein smiled, trying to comfort the sulking kid.

"How can I become a Pirate if I can't swim? Now Shanks has a reason not to take me in a voyage." Luffy said, pouting cutely.

When Klein heard that, he laugh. "Ne~ Who told you that? You can be a Pirate one day. Look, I'll show you something so you won't get upset anymore." Klein wink, like what he is going to tell is really a secret. If Shanks was here, he would say that Klein was trying to fool a kid, which will obviously work since it's Klein.

"Eh? What is it?" Luffy asked.

"Give me your hand." Klein asked, in which Luffy obediently complied. With a smile, Klein suddenly out a knife.

"K-Klei, what's the knife for?" Luffy asked, remembering the pain when he stabbed his face.

Klei pause, a chuckle escape his lips. "Ne~ Don't be scared. You trust me, right?"

Without hesitation, Luffy nodded his head and watched what Klein has to do. Without any further ado, Klein held Luffy's hand tightly before slashing a deep vertical linear, deep enough to cause Luffy's arms to be numb.

Before Luffy could comprehend what's happening, Klein mumbled a word.

"Switch."

Just like that, the deep cut in Luffy's arm disappeared completely, like it wasn't there.

Seeing the cut disappeared so suddenly, so fast that the moment Luffy blink it was long gone, the Ravennette suddenly panicked. "H-Huh?! Wh-What's happened? It's there! I felt the pain, but not the cut is gone! Klei, I-

The words Luffy wanted to say was suddenly cut off, his words being stuck into his throat as he stared at Klein's arms with wide eyes.

"K-Klei..."

Laying numbly at his side, Klein's white sleeve was now drenched with Blood. The crimson blood dripped down his arms into the hard ground, and Klein was actually smiling like the pain was nothing.

"Klein! Y-Your arm!" Luffy suddenly stood up in panick.

Klein glance at his arm like it's nothing before flashing a smile at Luffy. "It's just a cut, it's no big deal. I'll be glad if you felt relieved you're not alone but, Hehehe, looks like I've made you more upset." He said guiltily, causing Luffy to start crying, thinking that it was his fault since he was complaining too much that Klein had to hurt himself to make him happy.

"K-Klein, I'm sorry!" Luffy said, and Klein just pull him in a hug with a smile, in which Luffy buried his face in Klein's neck, sniffing.

With a smile, Klein explained. "I also ate a Devil Fruit. It allows me to transfer my pain to someone, or transfer someone's pain to me."

When Luffy heard that, he panicked more. He actually felt the pain in that cut, and now it was transferred to Klein. Although it sounds cool and amazing, Luffy felt it was a painful Ability.

"You could've just told me! You're hurt now, Klein, don't die!" Luffy said, his eyes starting to gather tears, causing Klein to panicked.

"Hey, I'm not dying Ne! I told you It's just a cut." Klein said, calmly standing up as he hooked his unhurt arm to Luffy's shoulder. "Now, promise you won't tell anyone, hmm?"

"W-Why?"

"Because it's our secret. If you said it to someone without my permission, then you can't be my Little brother anymore." Klein simply said, intending it as a joke. However, he didn't know how Luffy's brain work at the moment, and the kid actually took it very, very seriously.
