A few weeks later Captain Zereno and I discussed more about this trip to the solar system. So far, all they had was to stop at Jupiter before heading to Earth. I knew it would be difficult to make a route for this since to cross into another galaxy is insanely illegal and must be done through a lot of calls and meetings. I knew the trip would take ages but I was excited to finally be able to go back to my home planet. I want to know if it still has trees or if it's completely covered in rundown buildings and rubble like other aliens tell me it is.

Harry has requested multiple times to come to these meetings that streched hours but he was always rejected by the captain no matter how long he begged for. Even me trying to persuade the captain all he says is "No!" I promised him that 'll get him to a meeting soon so he can see if he meets his family or not but the troops still don't trust him.

"Humans are awful creatures that don't deserve to see their families again! They have done so much to try and get rid of us and nothing has happened. We taught them a lesson" one of the major cadets argued from across the meeting table to me.
"I don't think killing most of their families is teaching them a lesson" I argued back and he just scoffed.
"Have you seen what they have done with some of the species? Dead! They killed them" I wanted to cry. He had no idea that I was in the situation as the rest of them but I was lucky enough to escape and now my own mother is stuck in this prison and she could be dead for all I know.
"They are curious! They aren't as curious as you but they are smarter and they have more devices that came here. They waited for hundereds and hundereds of years waiting so long for another life to cross the borders and into the solar system. They catched them to do experiments on them to see what they do. They're scientists and that's exactly what they do" I was almost out of breathe when I finished yelling and the cadet just huffed and slouched back into his chair, signalling that he didn't want to continue on with the conversation.

The rest of the team filled the room and we went straight into the meeting about this trip to Earth. An hour passed before we were done and I immediately went to the spare rooms where Harry was. We had recently gotten close because we were the only two. He honestly made it feel like home again.
