Chapter 6 // meetings

I lie in bed that night and I couldn't help but think about Harry. When he hugged me today I realised that I had a little crush on him. Who wouldn't? He has captivating green eyes and a huge smile. He is tall. Very tall and he's so lanky. His eyes crinkle in the corner when he laughs and his dimples appear everytime he smiles.

Okay, maybe it's more than a little crush but I wasn't going to tell anyone. I had to be professional about Harry and this trip because I don't want the Apidians to get curious about who I really am. So far they have believed everything I told them the second I landed on this planet. Escaped from the prison.

I remember what one of the guards at the prison were talking about. Some humans were still on earth. They were in a secret hideaway somewhere and they were no where to be found. They were thinking about destroying the planet but everyone else thinks it's a stupid idea. Thank God. Some planets think that they can take it as there own and grow their population to two planets. Which is completely selfish and kind of pointless. I've brought up all these issues at meetings with the troops and the Captain but they disn't care about what happened. Once I found out they were going to Earth I was hurt that they didn't tell me but I was relieved because I knew that I had to go.

I hear foot steps next to my room and my head turns to see Luca standing at the door.
"Princess, did I wake you?" she asked quietly,
"No, I cann't sleep anyway" I smiled but I doubt she saw it because it was so dark in the room. I hadn't seen Luca is a while and it was nice to finally see her.
"Me neither. I was thinking about Harry and the trip to Earth?" she came and sat at the end of my bed. The two moons reflected off her skin so I could see her face,
"Would I be going with you?" she asked quietly. I knew she has always been uneasy about the whole trip everytime we talked about it.
"I don't know if I'm going" I asked honestly and she nodded.
"Of course you have to go. They would be insane to not take you" she smiled and I returned it.
"Hopefully we can both go" I gave her a reassuring smile and got up from the bed.
"At the next meeting I'll ask who is going" I told her and she nodded and walked out the room.

The next meeting dragged on and it was the same things we talked about last week. I needed to know who was going and when it was happening. I needed to tell Luca if she could come and I needed to tell Harry when it was to stop him from crying himself to sleep and have worried looks covering his face everytime I saw him. I was curious myself. I wanted to know if I could see my mother or not.

"We looked over the map. It is only a few galaxies away and it's near the galaxy the humans are in. We will take Mr Styles on the trip drop him off to his family and then head to Earth. We will be going with a few more kingdoms so we won't be alone and we have a range of different individuals that can help us through it all" the Captain explained the plan he went over and this was all new information.
"Captain, I was talking to Harry the other day about all that was happening that was relevant to him and I was thinking that maybe we could get his family from the prison. Talk to the leader and the guards to bail them out and take them with us" I expressed my ideas and it went completely quiet.

A few seconds later a loud laughter erupted from the room. I was confused. What did I say?
"How could a-a human boy survive on th-this planet" he said in between laughs and I was offended that they were laughing at me.
"Excuse me!" I yelled loudly and the laughter dulled down and I stood up from the table.
"That was no way to treat your ruler" I talked in third person and the snickering stopped. They all looked at me with fear. I was the princess afterall. I could banish every one of them forever with a few words.
"I dismiss all of you and if I see this behaviour one more time there will be consequences and I can guarentee that some of you won't be on this team any longer" I walked away from the group and immediately regretted what I had just done. I didn't want to be seen as a bitch but if they didn't want to listen to me then I had to put on that persona.
