Aashna Pov
I woke up and sat on my bed. Then suddenly I realised today is Tuesday and today Manan's going to come back to Mumbai. I was hella excited to meet him after almost four years.
I got ready quickly and left for college I was sitting in the canteen and waiting for everyone to come. I called sanket but he didn't answer my call. I texted him but he didn't even reply to my text. I was confused and also realised he has started ignoring me from past days. He is trying to distance himself from me but why? I was lost in my thoughts when unnati came and hugged me from behind I hugged her back. Then everyone started coming. We greeted each other by a hug.
Finally sanket came and I smiled at him but he didn't even look at me. Then he hugged everyone except me. By now I was hella annoyed and left from there. U was sitting in my classroom and suddenly tears rolled down from my cheeks. I quickly wiped them up before anyone else could see. But I was very upset and hurt because of sanket's behaviour.
Our lectures were about to start and everyone came to the class. Unlike every other day sanket didn't come and sit next to me but went and sat down next to arsh. This was the limit I went towards him and told him sanket I want to talk to you. He said after the class. I said right now and I am not asking for your permission I am telling you.
We went outside the class and he said tell me what you wanted to talk about. His tone was rude.
A:- I asked him why the hell are you ignoring me?
S:-I am not ignoring you.
A:- Oh really than why aren't you answering my calls or replying to my texts. Earlier you would answer my call or reply to my texts in a minute. What happened suddenly that it is taking you so long to respond to my calls and texts.
S:- I didn't see them.
A:- Don't lie to me sanket.
S:- I am not.
A:- Okay but why didn't you smile at me in the canteen and you hugged everyone except me in the canteen. Can I know why so?
S:- Because you have a boyfriend now so I have to train my self for it.
A:-For what?
S:- For staying away from you from hugging you otherwise he will feel jealous. (He said this with a pissed tone.)
A:- First of all he is not my boyfriend yet and even if he becomes my boyfriend in future doesn't mean that our friendship changes and he won't get jealous because you are my best friend and yess you will always be my best friend wether I have a boyfriend or not got it.
He nodded and I hugged him he hugged me back. We went to the class and I was holding his hand so I made him sit next to me and he was continuously looking at me throughout the lecture. That made me happy that my best friend is back.
The lectures got over and we went to the canteen. I told them that today is manan is landing in mumbai today and you all have to come with me to pick him up from the airport. Everyone said wow that's great. Ofcourse we will come with you to pick him up. After all we need to see this special person. I blushed. Sanker didn't utter a word so I asked you are coming no? He said no honey I am extremely sorry I won't be able to come I have some urgent work. What urgent work you have I asked and told him you can do all your urgent work later today you are coming with me and he finally agreed.
