Sanket Pov
I woke up with throbbing headache. I felt so sick. But then I realised I was sleeping in honey's lap and her one hand was on my head and I was holding her other hand close to my chest. I tried to remove my hand from her and got up. Ouch my head it is hurting. I lied honey down on the bed and pulled the blanket over her.
I went to the washroom to throw up. Then I freshened up and came outside. Honey was still asleep. So I went outside in the kitchen to make lemonade for myself. I was drinking my lemonade and thinking what happened last night. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was that bastard manan. I smiled at him but he didn't. Instead he asked me something
M:- are you and aashna dating?
He was looking pissed.
S:- no-no we are not dating. We are just best friends.
M:- Oh please don't lie in front of me.
S:-I said I am not lying.
M:- Then why were you jealous yesterday when we both were dancing ?
S:- I was not jea jealous
M:- you are stammering that means you are lying.
S:- I am not ( trying to hide his face) I was not jealous I just was drunk that's why.
M:- Why were you sleeping on honey's lap
S:- I said I was drunk and by the way she is my best friend so I can sleep in her lap.
M:- No you can't ( slaps sanket)
A:- what the fuck manan
( Goes towards sanket, sat beside him and hugs him)
M:- aashna you don't come between us
( Pulls her away from sanket and pushes her aside causing her to fall on the ground)
A:- what's wrong with you manan
( trying hard not to cry)
S:- manan stop it you are hurting her
M:- oh no mr. so called best friend is jealous and angry.
Listen sanket aashna is mine don't try to come between us
(Drags aashna out of the room with him)
S:- (pulls manan with force and slaps him hard)
M:- (turns towards him but aashna stops him)
Look aashna I want to talk to you in private please tell your so called best friend to leave
S:- I am not leaving honey alone with you.
A:- sanket please give me five minutes please
S:- okay but call me if he troubles you
(Leaves)
A:- What is this fucking behaviour manan. I am not a trophy that you are fighting to win it. Yess I love you only. But I love my best friend manan and this is not my manan. He has changed in this four years.
M:- No aash I am your manan only. I have not changed just I am jealous because you are my best friend and I love you but you always take that sanket's side. This past four years were hell for me because you were not there with me. When dad told me we are shifting back to India I was so happy and excited because I thought I will be able to be with you again. But from the day I have come here that sanket is not leaving us he is always trying to come between us. I never said anything because I thought he is your best friend. But yesterday when I saw him sleeping in your lap and you were caressing his hair and then when I came in you told me to leave so I got jealous and angry. In the morning when I saw him I couldn't control myself and I hit him and again you took his side so I became more angry.
A:- He was drunk manan. I took him to his room and made him lie down on his bed. When I sat beside him he came and kept his head in my lap so I just caressed his hair so he feels better. That's it and when you came in I told you to leave because he was almost asleep and I didn't want him to wake up. After sometime I tried to get up but realised he was holding my hand tightly so couldn't leave.
M:- I am sorry aash please forgive me. I am genuinely sorry please forgive me.
A:- don't tell me sorry. Say it to sanket. You have hurt him.
M:- yess I will ask for his apology
( Aashna calls sanket and manan tells him sorry and sanket forgives him).
After sometime everyone else also woke up and they all make breakfast and then eat. After eating they all are sitting and manan get's a call so he leaves the room.
M:- hello
P:- hello! Work done?
M:- no not yet but I will do it don't worry. Our plan is almost on the worge of being successful
What work is manan talking about??
What is his plan?
What are his intentions?
Whom is he talking to?
