Chapter 17

Sanket Pov
I was extremely hurt but had to pretend to be happy for honey.  Everyone else could see that I love her than why only she can't see that I love her? I know she cares for me and loves me but only as a best friend.

I was seating in my room and watching our pictures in my phone

I was trying hard not to cry but again I failed tears rolled down from my cheeks but instead of wiping them I let them fall. I cried till my eyes became sore.

Then suddenly my mom came in the room and I quickly wiped off my tears and closed my phone and kept it on the table. My mom came and sat next to me I was looking down in order to hide my face but you can never hide anything from your mom. She pulled me in a hug and asked me what was wrong? I started crying again and she was consoling me.

I told her everything. I told her how since past few days I had started feeling differently about Aashna. I realised that I had fallen for her but was scared to confess but today in the morning when we were in college manav bhai and tanzeel said ki I should confess her about my love before it is too late. They assured me ki she loves me back sensing that I what was I scared about and not confessing.

So I decided to ask her out today in the evening when we meet at her house for filming content. I decided to go early. I went to her house and as soon as I went in her room she came towards me running and hugged me tightly. Trust me that hug was so majical and also just what I needed the most at that moment. She told me she loves someone I asked who she said my best friend and I got so excited and happy but than she said she loves her childhood best friend manan I was shocked when I heard it and I couldn't believe what I had heard.

My mom said it's okay maybe God has some better plans for both of you. I said but mom I love her truly from my deepest part. I can't love someone else like this. I love only aashna and I am also sure no one else can love her the way I do. No one else can love her as much as I do. Not even that manan. Mom tried to calm me down and I placed my head in her lap. Just than I remembered when I placed my head on aashna's lap it was magical. I felt so relaxed as I feel when I sleep in my mom's lap.

Flashback Begins

So once when they were filming the videos he had put his head in her lap but he felt so nice and relaxing. Also they both just forget everything else. We both were lost into each other. I put her hand on my head and was holding her other hand. She started caressing my hair and I just slept in her lap.

Flashback Ends

Mom you know what she cares for me just the way I care for her. Today when I was not eating my dinner she fed me even though I was refusing. My mom said maybe she loves you back but is not able to feel that yet. She still thinks she loves her childhood friend manan.

This gave me a ray of hope. I thought about it. Maybe what she said could be true. But I won't let it raise my hopes because if it is not true than I won't be able to bare it if I raise my expectations or hopes. My mom said now don't worry much about it and sleep. She tried to leave but I refused to get up so she began caressing my hair and I fell asleep in my mom's lap.
