Seeing you at the end of the aisle wearing a black suit, looking so handsome made me remember our past.

Meeting you was by fate.

3 years ago,I was an intern,you are a patient.

Agad kaming naalerto nang narinig namin ang sirena ng ambulansya.

"We don't know his name yet, around 20 years old,his car crashed, his head got the most impact." Rinig kong sabi ng isang doctor habang itinatakbo ang pasyente papasok ng Emergency room.

Habang inaayos ang aking gamit may naramdaman akong tumabi sakin.

"Doc.Reyes?" I asked with a surprised expression.
"Nakita mo yung lalaking itinakbo sa ER?" Tanong nya.
"Yung sa car crash po?"
"Yup! I'll assign him to you," She paused. "I'll give you all the details tomorrow."

I went to my usual night routine.I woke up due to screams. They're fighting. Again.
"Ma,Pa,aalis na po ako." I recived silence as a response,as usual.

Nang nakarating ako sa ospital, nakita kong nagtatawan ang ilang babaeng interns.Agad namang nagsalubong ang aking kilay.
"Anong meron?" Tanong ko.Tumingin sya sakin habang abot tenga parin ang ngiti."Still remember the patient yesterday?" I nodded my head as a answer. The smile on her face widened."He's drop dead handsome!" She screamed."Swerte naman nung naka assign sa kanya.Imagine seeing that face everyda–" She became quiet when we heard a soft voice.

"Ahem.Lizette," I quickly turned around when I realized that it was Doc. Reyes."Let's talk about the details of the guy last night, the one who was ran to the ER." She smiled then walked away. When I looked at the interns, they gave me an envious stare. I walked away innocently. I could feel their stares piercing me.

"Let's make this quick, I know we both have a lot to do. As of now we don't know his name. Probably at his 20's. He got his head severely damaged. Lastly, he doesn't remember anything."
Doc.Reyes quickly said without even looking at me. It not my first time handling a person with amnesia but this is the first time I'm handling a person who doesn't know their identity. Alone.

Isang tanong ang sumalubong sa'kin pag pasok ko sa kwarto. "Sino ka?" Tanong nya wala man lang mabakas na expression sa boses nya."I'm the one assigned to you." He stayed quiet as I checked him. In the span of 5 minutes I'm already done. The other interns are not wrong. He is indeed handsome.

Becoming your friend was my choice.

I broked the silence with a question."Sir?"
"Hmm?" He replied, still without any expression.
"Isn't it weird if I will just call you "Sir"? He finally looked me in the eyes.
"What if I call you Nathan?" I asked."Sounds good to me." He replied.
"Then we're settled. Hi Nathan. I'm Lizzete and I'll be your doctor. Can I be your friend?" I said as I extended my arm."Yeah." He replied as he shaked my hand. I walked out of his room with a smile. It's my first time to initiate friendship. It's weird but it felt right.

In just a few weeks we became close. You're not really cold in fact you are a funny person, always making me smile with jokes. On the third week of your stay here you finally remember your name,it's Laxus.

Loving you was beyond my control.

I tried to deny it but deep inside I know it,I like him,I really do. It has been 1 month and 3 weeks, you confessed that you like me and you promised would court me once your memories return. In 2 months you made me the happiest girl in this world, the universe rather. You bought light into my colorless life.

Today May 5 2020, 5 years after we met. Today is your wedding day. This is the happiest day of your life, and this is my worst nightmare.

Losing you was unexpected.

It has been 3 months. You remembered everything. You have a fiance and you are getting married. You have been together for 3 years. In the short period of time I experienced the feeling of loving and being loved,Sadyang mabilis din itong natapos. It felt like a moon was taken away in a very dark night. He was my light it the darkest days.

It has been 5 years. I am now a doctor.
And now you are marrying the girl you really love, which is not me anymore. It never was me." You may now kiss the bride!" The priest said with joy. In the end promises are not made to be fulfilled it's just made to make us feel better. Despite everything I'm still glad we met.
