The night sky without stars is scary,but my star is right here,beside me.

"The moon seems so lonely up there,right?" She asked while loooking at the shining moon. "Yeah. Being lonely is such a scary thought." I stopped and looked at her while she's still looking at the moon. "So..d-don't leave me."

She turned her gaze at me and smiled. "I'll try my best."

I was once a lonely moon in the sky then she came-my star.

"Today is your day bro.." Lucas said while looking at the ring. "Yup." I replied. I know that she is the girl I'll spend my life with. I couldn't imagine my future without Star.

I arrived at our meeting place,the place where we first met-the playground. After a few minutes she arrived and hugged me. "Hey! I have something to tell you!" I can hear excitement in her voice. "I got accepted in France!" She almost screamed.
"R-really?" I asked. "Yeah!" She answered and showed me a email. France is her dream since we were a child. Instead of "Will you marry me?" I hugged her and said "Goodluck! I know you'll do great, as always. I'll wait for you." I might not be able to see it but I know she is smiling.

After she said her goodbye to her family."I guess this is goodbye..." she paused and look at me in the eye. I hugged her tightly knowing I will not be able to do that for a while. "I'll wait for you. I promise" Her reply gave me assurance. "I'll come back for you. I promise,my scientist" She started walking away. Every step she took caused a stab in my heart. She's almost 7 meters away when she raised the star necklace I gave her last year. I saw tears forming in her eyes." Don't cry." I mouthed. She nodded as a reply. And she continued walking away.

I kept on looking at my phone waiting for a reply when I heard a scream. "Edward!" Mom screamed. I rushed downstairs. She pointed at the television. And there I saw my worst nightmare 'Flight 3721, a flight going to France crashed. All of the passengers died, including the pilot.' The news said.

I grieved. I spent my days crying all the pain out. "This is not acceptable.." I looked at her photo. "She doesn't deserve any of this!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"My Star, my only star.."
I wiped my tears when a idea popped in my mind. I can see her again,I know I can.
The Reset. My professor once mentioned it to us. It an experiment made thousand years ago. No one had ever succeeded. It is my only choice. I need to see her again.

Days turned to months and months turned to years. 2 years of research and I'm finally done. I'm ready for the risks this will cause. I turned on the machine and... Flash! A blinding light filled the room. I opened my eyes.

I'm back. Febuary 10 2015, 3 days before she died.

"Please,Star don't go. Don't leave me." I begged. "What?! Why?!" She asked."Just.." I looked for words but I wasn't able to think of anything." Please don't leave me. I am doing this for you star." She let out a heavy sigh. "Fine." She forced to smile.

I thought everything will be fine but...

"She got into an accident. Her car crashed today." Her mother cried. What?! No.. I lost her. Again.

I have to try again. I badly need her in my life. I turned the machine on and the room was once again filled with light.

I'm back at Febuary 13 2015, now infront of a road and on the other side I saw Star,smiling brightly and waving her hand."Nathan!" She called and raised her hand higher. She was crossing the road with a smile on her face and in a blink of an eyes I saw a car hit her and she fell on the ground. N-no this can't be, not again. I lost the love of my life for the 3rd time.

I kept on returning to the past but everytime something goes wrong and I kept loosing the girl I love.

But I'll fight destiny for her.

I tried everything but i still end up loosing her.

Today is the 59th time I'll go back to the past. She had been food poisioned. She is now laying in a hospital bed. Do we really deserve this kind of fate?
I was about to operate the machine when I felt a hand on my wrist. "Oh. Star,you're awake."
She gave me a sweet smile. How can I let go of her smile?

"Stop this,Edward." I saw sadness in her eyes when she said that. "What?" I gave her a smile.
"Returning to the past." She remembers? "You mean you remember everything?" Based on my research only me will remember.
Her smile widened and she slowly nodded. "I know you've tried and besides I'm already tired."
"I can try again,Star. I promise this time I wouldn't fail. " I her her hand with both of my hands.
" I'm sorry,I couldn't stay with you." Her smile vanished.
"Star you can, just please let me try one more time. I'll make it work."
"Live your life, Edward." I felt tears forming in my eyes.
"Aren't you being selfish,Star? You're leaving me again.." I couldn't hold back my tears.
"We've reach the end,Edward...." She bitterly smiled.
"We might not have a happy ending but our journey is already enough. It's enough. I love you." Those are the last words she said then....

I went back to the present.

I sighed. "You're really gone..." I said while staring at the moon. This rooftop is still the same except you're gone. "I'm back to being a lonely moon.." I whispered hoping she'd answer. Instead of a answer I felt a hug from my back. I might not see her but I know it's her.
