Perries POV:
I sat down in the reception "were gonna offer you £500,000 if you plead guilty" jades dad said "but I'm innocent you can't take me to prison for something I didn't do" I huffed and loosened my tie a little "it'll only be 1 year in prison but think £500,000 how happy amira will be when she's older that she feels privileged." She was right 500,000 I would've killed to have that money when I was younger "and what if I don't take the offer" I asked cautiously "we'll make sure your life's hell" I sighed "I'll see" I put the phone down and looked down at the black screen.
I walked up to the court room and stood in the box and I was scared. Jade smiled at me and I smiled a little. "Hello mrs edwards" a woman said "uhh h hi" she nodded "what do you like to do in your spare time" I wasn't expecting questions like that "Umm well I'm working a lot a the minute because my girlfriend jade thirlwall she's pregnant but I like reading" jade smiled "jade thirlwall the girl you raped" I shook my head quickly "it wasn't rape we have consent everytime" I said getting mad "you like shooting heroin and sniffing cocain and occasionally having a spliff" she said "I'm clean now" I looked down in shame "so if you were using how do you know you didn't they aggressive and rape miss Thirlwall" I shook my head "i I no ok she told me we both gave consent every time" she nodded "so you have anything to defend yourself" I shook my head and jade was watching me closely. "Miss edwards how do you plead to the rape of jade Thirlwall" I looked down 500,000 is a lot and it'll make jade happy and I can give April and Sean some money they could move house and me and jade could get a house. But jade needs me here she's pregnant with my baby."Umm I uhh" I looked at April and Sean they could really use the money. "Miss edwards your plead" i gulped "I I Umm I I'm" I looked down and wiped my forehead I was hot and tired I can't go to prison but I need the money. I looked at jade who had tears brimming in her eyes "Not guilty" I said and jade nodded to me and smiled. "Ok we're gonna take a break while I make my decision" I nodded and looked at the floor as the judge and the witnesses left. Jade came over and rubbed my back "why did it take you a lot of time to decide baby I told you that you didn't" I nodded "I know it's just your parents rang me and they offered me £500,000 that's a lot I could use it for me and you and amira and then give some to April and Sean" she shook her head "no Perrie if you manage to be seen as not guilty that's gonna be amazing and you have a very slim chance ok" I nodded and she hugged me tight kissing my head. "Your a cutie ok charm them" I smiled a little "I'll try bubba" she nodded and smiled.
Everyone came back in and I sat down and smiled at jade "ok I've made my decision Miss edwards not guilty" I smiled in relief and jade ran up to me and kissed me. "Jesus baby you did it well done" I smiled and kissed her and she smiled back at me. "Your smarts have come in handy huh all those books" I smiled and I couldn't process words I was beyond happy. "Fuck" that's all I managed to get out she smiled and I picked her up kissing her. "Let's celebrate" Sean said and came over I nodded and he hugged me "sure I just need to do one last thing" he nodded and him and jade left I walked over to April and sat down "I'm sorry April" she said nothing "when we get back I'll pack my stuff me and jade can stop in a hotel or with one of her friends" she shook her head "no need I'm sorry I was just mad that my eldest daughter could be so stupid" she cupped my cheeks and I smiled and she kissed my head. "Thank you for everything" she smiled "anything for you" I smiled and we got up walking out of court. I wrapped jade in my jacket and she smiled. "I love you" she said and I smiled kissing her cheek "I love you too" she smiled and kissed me.
Jade was next to me and I smiled as we watched a film. "I missed this" she smiled and I kissed her head "me too" She rested my head on my chest "It's all over now baby nothing else to worry about" i nodded slowly "yeah sure" little does she know we have a lot of trouble coming are way. Her parents said that they'd make my life hell "nothing to worry about" I said and she nodded turning over. I looked down at her. I can't tell her there's a ton of shit coming are way. I put my arm around her waist resting my hand on her stomach where my daughter was. What the fuck have I done.
