A Stadium Near Mt. Fuji

September 8, 2017

A chance at equality. A chance at a better life. A chance for a new life. However fate, or whatever all powerful forces thought otherwise. It was supposed to be the end of an era. An era of hate and bigotry would be cast aside and forgotten. Little did I know, on that day I would be the one who was cast aside and forgotten.

"Look Mom, there are over 200,000 thousand people here. I know that it's a little cramped but I promise you after this whole process is over we're gonna be full Japanese citizens again." I spoke softly to my eldery mother. "Look why don't you just wait here. I'm going back to the entrance to see if Dad made it yet."

I left my seat near the entrance and exit point of the stadium. I reached for my cell phone as I exited the stadium, the large crowd of Elevens hungry at the chance to become full and legally recognized Japanese. I was hungry for the chance, but now I realize that I was the fool in the court of the king. Or in this case, the court that former massacre princess.

"Hey Dad, it's me. Where the heck are you?" I chuckled over the phone. I waded through the crowd, hoping to just bump into him. "Mom and I are already here. I managed to score us some seats so we can get a good view of the stage and everything."

"Sorry, I got stuck at work. But I'm making my way to the stadium now." my father answered.

Before I could speak I looked up and saw something amazing. A black and gold colored Knightmare frame, it's massive size dwarfs the buildings below as it gently flies towards the stadium. I never panicked as one would when seeing a massive machine, because I saw the hero, the savior of the Japanese: Zero. Sometime passed, and soon I found my dad. He was wandering through the crowd, just like normal. The poor man couldn't go 15 feet without getting lost.

"You know I ought to put a GPS tracker on you." I laughed as we were making our way back to the stadium. But unfortunately the guards said that we couldn't go back in, apparently there were enough people inside. "You don't understand my mother is in there, and she's by herself. Please just let us through."

"Just back behind the line." the soldier ordered. "God you give an Eleven an inch and that bastard will take a mile." he mutters under his breath.

"Hey fuck off!" I shouted. I got up in his face, "You got a problem now that you and I are gonna be the equal? You Britannians are all the same!"

"I said back behind the line!" the soldier yells again shoving me down to the ground. "Don't give me a reason." he sneers, showcasing his handgun in it's holster.

"Son, it's alright." my Dad said helping me up. "Why don't you just call your mother and let her know what's happening. I'm sure everything will work out just fine."

I begrudgingly agreed with him, we backed away from the two soldiers and I called my mom.

"Hey Mom, I found Dad, but there's a problem." I said. "Apparently they're not letting us back in. They say that the stadium is at capacity, so look Dad and I will watch the ceremony from outside. And when it ends just stay where you are, I'll come and get you. Is that OK?"

"Don't worry about little ol' me, sweetheart. Just make sure that you and your father just stick together. After this hectic event is over, we can all get our official citizenship statuses together. Oh I'll call you back, I think Princess Euphemia is about to speak."
