We've been wishing everyone a happy new year since it's a new calendar
We were all jumping with joy thinking we've reached so far
It's 2020 and all we know was to forget the pain and just let remain yesterday's scar
Yet, we're just unaware that this year will not give as a warm welcome, but a plague killing most people that was like filling them dead inside a world-sized jar
We were told not to step out and just remain like prisoners inside our homes in exchange of our health and safety
We were quarantined aiming that the contagion will stop and all will be free
But, it was to potent that it can contaminate people just by sneeze, cough and droplets which are obviously we can't see
It was too fatal that many are dying and others were in total agony
'An enemy has been slain' , something we hear from a mobile game that many are patronizing
And it's too painful to imagine if our foe is chanting to us the very same thing
That deadly enemy, an enemy we can't see must be very fond of killing
That's why we have many fellows who died and its fatality is still increasing
