Chapter 3 - "Bump"

Y/N Pov:

I'm heading towards my second last class for today which is technology, as I was walking in the hallway, I noticed that I was the only student walking in the hallway. Why aren't there any other students here? Am I late? I didn't hear the bell go off. I speed-walked to class and found everyone already inside, looking at me. I looked around the classroom to see if there were any other students that I'm close with, sadly there weren't any. I shyly stare at the ground and walk to the back table where no other students are.

"Welcome to my class Y/N, my name is Mr. O. Since your new to this school, I'll let you come late today. Just don't be late from now on" I nod my head "Alright, now that everyone is here, I want all you guys to continue working on the architecture designs on the website" The teacher looks at me and scans the classroom "And I want...Lia, I want you Lia to help Y/N" I look around the classroom wondering who that student would be. A girl that was sitting a few tables away from me stands up and walks over and takes a seat beside me.

"Hey"

"Hi" I reply shyly

"I'll help you work on your architectural design and if you want, maybe we can get to know each other"

I talked to Lia during this whole class while also working on our assignment. We realized that we both have some similarities like she used to live in Canada for a while, we both lost a friend when we were young, and both of our parents sent us here for education.

*Ding... Ding... Ding....*

I was too focused on working talking that I never noticed it's been an hour since we started this class. "What's your final class?" I ask her as I was packing my belongings up.

"Gym, what about you?"

"Really? I have gym as well" (Note: Gym is not with homeroom classes, Gym is mixed with other classes in their grade)

"Wanna go together since you probably don't know where the gym is?" Although Sana showed me all the classes I needed to know including gym, I decided to go along.

"Yeah, sure"

I walked into the changing room and changed into my gym clothes, I jogged to the center of the gym where all the gym students were gathered. I sat beside Lia since she was the only one I was close to. The noise became louder as more students started to sit down.

*Whistle*

"Today, we'll be playing volleyball since the volleyball season is coming soon. I want six people to grab all the equipment from the storage room, raise your hand if you want to help" I look around and no one raises their hand "Okay then, the people who aren't bringing the equipment will have to keep running around the court until the people who are bringing the equipment are done-" Before the teacher finishes her sentence every student raises their hand at the speed of light "Let's have... *insert name*, *insert name*, *insert name*, Lia, Y/N, and finally Yeji, bring the equipment. Y/N and Yeji can go to the small storage room over there and the rest of you can go to the other storage room" She says as she points to the two storage rooms. "The rest of you guys, start running" All the other students groan and slowly start running.

I followed the girl inside the storage room, she tried to pull out a volleyball pole but I think it was a little heavy for her since she couldn't lift the pole.

(Note: These pole with wheels on it)

She tried pulling it out one more time and she pulled it out, she started to stumble backwards, I quickly grabbed her by the waist with my right hand and held onto the pole with my left hand, so the pole wouldn't fall on us. I looked over other and our eyes were met at each other for a few seconds. She has some beautiful cat eyes. I came back to reality and could feel my face turning red from embarrassment

"Oh.. um sor-ry" I let go of her waist once she was able to stand up.

"Thank you" she said quietly, I looked at her face and a small smile formed on my face as I saw a tint of redness in her cheeks.

After we set up the poles on the court, I went back to the storage room to bring the nets out. As I went back in, I saw the same girl struggling to pull the net out of the basket. A smile once again formed on my face and went to help her.

Yeji Pov:

The same guy who saved me from falling earlier came over to and helped me pull out the net from the basket. I looked at his face and we had eye contact again, he looked away from me. I felt my cheeks burning just by looking at him. I felt so wrong but this guy really has a cute smile and a handsome face. I 'accidentally' brushed my hands with his hand while pulling the net, I acted as nothing happened and kept trying to pull the net. When I brushed my hands with his, I felt a electricity shock going through my body, I know I shouldn't feel this way but I can't help it. His hands were the softest thing I touched.

Author Pov:

Y/N and Yeji brought back the nets and set it up, the gym teacher called the other students in and created the teams. Y/N was in the same team as Yeji, Y/N was the only student in his team that knew how to play volleyball as was actually good at it.

It was a pretty close game as the score was 23-23, the opponent spiked towards Y/N who was at the backside of the court. However, Yeji who was at the front side ran backwards, she wasn't looking where she was going and bumped into Y/N. They both fell backwards and Yeji landed on top of Y/N, they stared at each other again. You could clearly see both of them blushing really hard.

Y/N:

I looked away for a second until I felt someone bump into me before I could react, we both fell backwards. I made sure that the person that bumped into me landed on top of me. I landed on my back which hurt a lot, I looked up to see that it was the same girl that was with me when we were bringing the equipment up. I could see her cheeks blushing red as an apple as well as mine.

"BABE!" I looked over and saw a guy running towards us, the smile on my face slowly disappeared.
